Ezekiel Clothing is looking for an experienced Senior Apparel Designer for the Men’s division. This position plays a major role in the development of the sportswear line. This includes research, concept, design, and development of the apparel line while managing the design team.

Primary Responsibilities
• Work directly with the Creative Director to create original, innovative concepts and designs that accurately reflect Ezekiel’s philosophy
• Analyze product trends in market. Possess expert knowledge of product, delivery and pricing needs of consumer.
• Manage design processes to ensure timelines are met
• Ensure design feasibility and meet target pricing
• Manage all aspects of line development, including fabrication, trim, color, graphic applications, style, detail, fit issues and construction detail
• Maintain research libraries
• Continually expand upon expert knowledge of current trends, color, and technology through travel and research
• Provide guidance and management to designers including hiring, coaching, feedback and performance evaluations


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design or a related field
• 5 years relevant design experience
• 2 years additional experience in lieu of a degree
• Exceptional ability to apply and perform design skills, including drawing/sketching, concept ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing and scale, visual presentation development and layout
• Outstanding knowledge of applicable software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Web PDM, Corel, CAD, etc.)
• Comprehensive understanding of garment construction and textile sciences
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to inspire, involve and mentor others
• Ability to conceive and/or create new ideas, generate consensus and work cooperatively
• Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes
