The Art Director will manage production of tradeshow promotional materials from concept to final print production for portfolio of tradeshows. Projects include: brochures, direct mail packages, magazine ads, logos and web.
Job Requirements Design and develop design concepts for portfolio tradeshows based on guidance from Sales and Marketing staffWork closely with print vendors to ensure quality of piecesWork closely with partner and outside magazine ad production teams to provide monthly advertisements Art Director will work closely other art directors and graphic designer
Negotiate pricing for each piece based on budgetary guidelines
Develop and implement design schedule for operations and exhibitor/attendee groups Develop all promotional pieces from initial layout to bluelines
As well as digital pieces for the web
Key Skills/Competencies must know quark, photoshop, illustrator, GoLive, Image Ready
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
• 7 years experience in graphic design including advertising, promotional pieces and logo development
• Print buying/negotiating experience
• Strong people skills that enable them to work well with clients and co-workers.
Good communication and leadership skills are necessary to articulate strong visions and provide support for the design team
