Juan Monteverde is an internationally recognized attorney and founding member of Monteverde & Associates PC, based in the Empire State Building. His firm focuses on defending shareholders from corporate wrongdoing. Monteverde was previously an associate at Levi & Korsinsky, defending victims of securities and consumer fraud, mutual fund fraud, and ERISA breaches. He previously served as a civil litigation associate at Smith Mazure Director Wilkins Young & Yagerman, concentrating on construction law, civil rights, and product liability matters.

Monteverde graduated with honors from the St. Thomas University School of Law in 2005. He was a member of the Law Review's staff and the president of Plead the 5th, the official law school publication. He also taught constitutional law, property law, and ethics to pupils.

From 2000 to 2002, Monteverde obtained a Bachelor of Science in business and finance at California State University, Northridge.
