About me, first and foremost I’m passionate about people and creating unique, contextual ways to build dialogue with others that brings them value. No matter the medium, I tremendously want to listen, engage and understand consumer behavior and find the sweet spot to execute upon what they are asking for. I’m grateful to have started this ambition in my professional journey in the visual merchandising ecosystem.

From the early days of running a sales floor and the chaotic, overnight product floor flips that I still love so much. To having the privilege to develop visual strategies and store layout designs with several global brands like Bath & Body Works and DSW Inc. From seasonal campaigns, influencer centered product ideations, developing custom merchandise fixtures to designing visual directives to be sent to thousands of stores, I did it all. I’m beyond grateful for these experiences but I was hungry to explore consumer behavior in other spaces. I wanted to touch marketing, merchandising, UX design and other mediums in the customer journey. I had the opportunity to taste each of these spaces and it gave me greater clarity on where I want to go in my professional journey.

When my visual contract at DSW was cut short in March due to COVID-19, I decided to move to Sweden to study International Business with a focus in Cross-Cultural Media Communication. With the turbulence of the current climate, my studies were moved to a distance-learning format indefinitely and I found myself back in the states to ensure safety for myself. Finding balance in the transition and workload of school, my sights are currently seeking opportunities in the media and retail landscape. From internships, entry-level and on to mid-level, I want to learn and provide value. At my core, I understand people and I want to give. I’ve always lived by the token of “give without expectation” and it completely encapsulates how I operate as a person and in my work ethic.

Designed three individual, innovative and user-centered store layouts surrounding influencer lead campaigns that resulted in 85% product sell through for all seven “test market” stores within the first week of campaign launch.

Heading the logistics, procurement and in-store communication of marketing visual needs for all 528 USA stores, personal efforts contributed to seamless project completions with 98% success rate.

Created in-store user experiences and marketing placement ideations utilizing corporate vendors that actualized into original, brand-centered floor sets and original merchandise fixtures that currently reside in all “test market” stores.

Specialist Visual Operations & In-Store Presentation

Utilized CRM, email and social media platforms to gather contextual consumer buying patterns to influence strong merchandising decisions which lead sales to 125% YTD for Q4, 2019.

Headed curation of daily, limited release e-commerce product assortments across 60+ toy categories that generated $100k-$400k in revenue per weekly release.

Created comprehensive trend analyses from extensive vendor and consumer data to that supplemented site merchandisers to create contextual email and landing page campaigns that compounded to a 92% retention rate of existing customers.

Oversaw and managed 200+ vendors like LEGO, Playmobil, Melissa & Doug, Hearthsong and World Tech Toys with the acquisition of 12 new vendors within three months.

Visual Specialist

Designed and executed floors set prototypes for 2019 Spring/Summer, Fall and Christmas visual merchandising campaigns with each prototype advancing into all 1,739 USA stores.

Developed visual directives and communications guides for all floor set designs in collaboration with concept, merchandising and merchant teams to ensure consistent execution amongst all store associates.

Launched and operationally assisted Marine Layer's first Ohio location

Performed as store and project manager of store projects and initiations in sectors of marketing, brand outreach & awareness, strategic sales enablement, visual merchandising strategies and employee training development
specified to the store's region

Developed creative and technical project briefs to identify business cases, communication plans, work breakdown
flows, problem definitions and project plans to drive KPI's of a projected nearly $1 million store. Successfully
finished 101% to forecasted plan for 2018
