Currently, I work with the Ecologic arm of the company, which is responsible for designing and manufacturing custom upcycled goods for international brands such as Patagonia and AT&T as well as local companies like New Belgium Brewery. In addition, museums like San Francisco MOMA are satisfied clients. I am prepared to take on any and all challenges with respect to this position.
As an intern at Green Guru, I was an active participant in bringing new products to market as well as redeveloping existing products. These responsibilities included ideation sketching, form and study modeling, pattern development, soft goods construction and prototyping, as well as making high quality production samples. I also participated in marketing campaigns such as Bike to Work Day and the 2013 Outdoor Retailer Trade show in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was able to observe the production process at the manufacturing facility and participate in assembling contractor packets. I learned a great deal at Green Guru as an intern and will continue to learn, grow, and design things that make solve problems for people, every day.
