A transitioning military officer looking for an operations role in the outdoor recreation industry. Experienced background in logistics, team management, and operations planning.

• Supervises the management and leadership of military instructors, ensuring personal/professional conduct of all instructors/recruits, a safe training environment for all trainees, and realistic, effective training in order better prepare the military of tomorrow.
• Reports all training statistics and assists in analysis in order to identify critical inefficiencies for modification in future programs.
• Ensures the effective training of 250 trainees undergoing US Marine Corps basic training in the respective areas of military knowledge, water survival, physical fitness, leadership skills, personal discipline, and overall professional conduct.

•Responsible for the accountability of government assets totaling in excess of $50 million.
•Supervised the maintenance management for 12 vehicles and the professional and personal development of 43 employees. 
•Planned and supervised the safe conduct of training development programs to qualify employees for overseas deployment.
•Served as administrative chief, supervising the administrative needs and management of 150 employees.


• Supported the logistical planning and conduct of four separate events, requiring cross-state and multi-agency coordination.
• Responsible for database management in support of event registration requirements.
• Facilitated on-site registration for three multi-day events serving 4,000 total participants.
•Provided customer support and problem solving to facilitate optimal customer experience.                                                                                                                                                    

Operations Intern

• Provided in-depth risk assessment and implementation of control measures to optimize client experience and safety.
• Responsible for educating and guiding clients in safe and enjoyable mountain biking and hiking trips
• Independently led clients on guided excursions into the desert environment and assisted in administrative coordination with trip planning agencies to develop a smooth flow of events for clients
