Higher education

Experienced graphic designer with a demonstrated history of content creation in streetwear and the higher education industry. Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, social media marketing, branding, and teaching/advising. I am moving back to Southern California and am currently looking for design and/or social media marketing positions.

•	Co-oversaw the marketing and operations of HuskyTHON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the state of Connecticut. Led by 29 undergraduate students, the organization has raised over 1 million dollars for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT.
•	Advised the Greek Community Affairs Board, an eight-person student board which hosts educational programs geared towards a Greek community of over 2,400 students.
•	Designed marketing collateral and presentation materials for office use and distribution.
•	Facilitated educational workshops on event marketing, risk management, service, and philanthropy, for the UConn Greek community
•	Advised undergraduate student employees by providing support on student-created projects and developmentally appraising performance using frameworks from high impact learning practices.


Graduate Assistant, University of Connecticut

• Communicated the school’s strategic goals and accomplishments to internal and external audiences through the design of a 23-page infographic executive summary of the Neag annual report for both print and web consumption during this practicum internship experience
• Developed and facilitated a graduate-level workshop on using visual art and design to promote dialogue, allyship, and social responsibility, as it pertains to supporting marginalized communities.
• Collaborated with Neag staff and faculty to create and develop digital and physical marketing collateral for Neag sponsored events, conferences, open houses, etc.
• Adhered to Neag brand standards while also refreshing and expanding the boundaries of said standards through creating innovative designs with contemporary sensibilities.

• Constructed a multi-platform social media strategic marketing plan (SMP) for Southern’s New Student Orientation (NSO) summer program. 
• Implemented effective marketing initiatives and produced engaging marketing & event collateral, in turn contributing to substantial increases in audience engagement and followership on all Southern NSO social media platforms; including an 80% increase in followership on Instagram.
• Collaborated with the institution’s Department of Integrated Communications and Marketing to develop additional marketing initiatives, organize photoshoots with students, and disseminate orientation collateral to internal and external university stakeholders.
• Served as the primary contact for local printers for design projects.
• Supervised and provided artistic direction to five visual media interns to assure the content they produced aligned with Southern's institutional mission, branding guidelines, etc.

• Rebranded UConn Late Night, a weekend programming series, though designing a new visual identity system aligned with Late Night’s ideal visual language, as communicated by departmental stakeholders.

• Successfully revamped ATG’s brand identity through implementing new logo colorways and modern design stylings into their social media outlets, product catalogs, and more.
• Assisted in the development and implementation of various marketing initiatives designed to further develop the company’s brand identity, such as website blog posts and press releases.
• Actively communicated with inside/outside sales representatives, customers, and distributors in order to assist them in developing their own personal marketing materials such as business cards and product-specific flyers.
