Materials Science Engineering Student at UCLA

I am a fourth-year Materials Science Engineering student at UCLA, working in Professor Kim's Quantum Materials and Devices Lab. My experience includes optical research and mechanical design, with hands-on work at Keysight Technologies as an R&D Opto-Mechanical Engineer. I am currently seeking a full-time engineering role to apply my technical skills and drive for innovation.

Opto-Mechanical Engineering Intern

- Devised an optical setup to characterize diamond-spin metasurfaces which incorporates a transmitted and reflected beam path in order to characterize samples using IR absorption techniques and advance the field of quantum imaging.
- Communicated with companies to order and find the necessary parts for the optical setup, organized order forms, and applied Microsoft Excel to keep organization of orders and parts throughout the lab
- Applied 3D Optix to simulate beam paths and implement Professor Kim's theories into concrete designs

-Cleaned the lobby and surrounding area within Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton
