Conceptualize and prototype electrical systems based around motors, LEDs, communication architectures (SPI/UART/I2C) using Altium and LTSpice • Lead design reviews, audit BOMs and their costs, collaborate with CMs to build PCBAs, finalize any safety or regulatory concerns with private companies (ETL, UL) • Build and debug PCBAs in the electrical lab using multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies, and function generators.

• Design and build schematics and PCBs using KiCad, PCB Designer and electrical lab equipment • Read and understand datasheets for part design requirements and PCB footprint specifications • Study and design EMI safe PCB layouts for CE and UL certifications • Troubleshoot failed energy meters to identify, report and fix PCB boards • Create an automated test setup and simulation using Python to check accuracy for CTs

for Energy Conversion Course • Create and edit MATLAB block diagram simulations for motor and generator designs • Research course material, create and write lessons, homework and exams for students. • Teach lectures that include material involving motor and generator design, single phase and 3-phase system design
