Creative work behind the FW22 OROS Collection

As a design director, I've led the creative direction and product vision of apparel lines, delivering innovative and impactful products that met the needs and expectations of the target consumers. With over 16 years of experience in the performance apparel space, I have worked for some of the world's biggest brands, such as adidas and Montane, on diverse and challenging design projects, spanning outdoor, sportswear, running, bike, and moto categories. My expertise in design, materials, and technology enables me to find unique solutions to complex problems, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and elevate product quality and value at every step of the creation process. I am passionate about staying ahead of the curve and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of performance apparel. I am always looking for new opportunities to apply my skills and knowledge to create products that enhance people's lives and experiences.

_ Creative lead responsible creating the design aesthetics of the OROS apparel + accessories line [40+ pieces] through both a multi-year + seasonal lens.
_ Lead the process of identifying consumer relevant range growth opportunities to meet the business growth goals.
_ Collaborated with Marketing, E commerce + Leadership teams to build product road maps for the apparel line.
_ Responsible for creating + communicating seasonal creative milestones to all stakeholders, ensuring information was clear + timely. Actively listening to feedback, filtering the information + applying changes where appropriate.
_ Evolved the placement + techniques for including the proprietary SOLARCORE insulation, creating opportunity for clear visual storytelling around the technology.
_ Acted as cross-functional team lead on multiple occasions during staffing gaps + reporting line re-organizations.
_ Mentored less experience cross-functional team members to ensure high quality product was brought to market in a timely fashion.
_ Collaborated with brand leaders on the future growth of the design + product creation teams.

_ Lead the creative exploration + concept development of advanced apparel projects for the Adidas global brand.
_ Collaborated with Engineering + Sports Science teams to identify areas of research to fuel the design of innovative concepts.
_ Managed relationships with internal stakeholders + external partners, defining deliverables + ensuring clear communication during the project.
_ Responsible for managing + building for a consumer centric design process within the innovation cross functional teams, carrying the overall design ethos of the Future team forward.
_ Delivering bi-yearly independent exportations investigating new opportunities for innovation to the Future team senior leadership..
_ Presenting project updates to stakeholders within the Future team + decision makers within Adidas business units
_ Supporting less experienced designers to remove road blocks from their projects, to ensure design quality, that timelines + consumer focus are maintained.
_ Stepped in to act as cross-functional team leader on multiple occasions during staffing gaps + reporting line re-organizations.

Senior Designer, adidas Future team

_ Responsible for creating high impact design concepts to showcase cutting edge technologies + fresh consumer insights.
_ Deep diving into consumer needs by partnering with insight groups + participating in focus groups. Synthesizing insights from consumers to embed in the design process.
_ Collaborating with internal Engineering + Sports Science partners to concept innovative solutions to meet identified consumer needs.
_ Identified + organized appropriate resources to build prototypes + concept garments to showcase project potential impact for the global Adidas brand.

Apparel Designer, adidas Future team

_ Responsible for Premium Trekking, Trekking + Mountain seasonal ranges, 150 plus styles [including carry-over styles].
_ Creating apparel designs in-line with overall Adidas performance design languages + Outdoor product line management needs.
_ Delivered high quality visual assets for key design reviews with design management + cross functional Outdoor teams.
_ Created clear illustrations for tech packs, identifying material, trim, colour + construction details to enable product development workflows.
_ Self-manage own creative process; being accountable for design quality, meeting deadlines + providing complete information.
_ Supporting less experienced designers to refine their creative vision from initial concept to final product.

Apparel Designer, adidas Outdoor BU

_ Responsible for delivering seasonal creative for a range of 70 plus styles across outdoor + athletic categories for both genders.
_ Aligning design language + product function to Montane’s ‘fast + light’ target consumer, through design, material, colour + trim selection.
_ Developed material, trim + construction techniques with suppliers to deliver innovative products, attractive to the Montane ‘fast + light’ consumer.
_ Built seasonal colour pallets, identifying trend/key colour stories + meeting commercial needs.
_ Manage garment Developers in the preparation of techpacks, ensuring accurate communication of construction, pattern + BOM components to the garment manufacturer.
_ Created artworks for brand level assets as well as seasonal on apparel embellishments.
