Managing group of 25 engineers (Application Engineering, R&D, Electro-Mechanical Systems group) plus overseeing test lab priorities ? Research and prepare product development strategy and product road map (including budget, resources and timelines) ? Orchestrate global development programs with Japan/China ? Responsible to maintain defensive strategy for ~300million USD per year ? Support US/Mexico production launch/quality/warranty issues ? Establish CAE/Simulation Group ? ? Manage 6-8 Engineers and Designers ? Lead Product development process ? Support/Lead product launch process with new manufacturing locations (Mexico & Hungary) ? Checks and approves Engineering documents (drawings, DFMEA's, DVP'R, FEA reports, Problem reports (8D, PDCA, etc.) ECR, Drawing releases, Tolerance Stack-ups) ? Cost reduction leader (VAVE) ? Create 3D models and assemblies using Catia V5 and UG NX ? Design process improvement team leader

? Lead Design for Window Regulators and Module Plate Design ? Manage/lead team of designers (2-3) ? Lead technical support for international programs (European programs) ? Manage development/program timing to meet customer deliverables ? Issue and manage engineering change request

? Design and package enclosures, brackets, modules, electrical and cooling components ? Manage suppliers for quoting and deliverables of parts ? Conduct feasibility studies for new programs ? Create bills-of-material and manufacturing assembly instructions. ? Lead design for manufacturing reviews ? Seal design to meet required IP protection. ? Lead mechanical engineer on multiple Chinese PHEV and EV programs o Lead PDT and technical review meetings ? Collaborated with module team of a new compact battery for improved energy density. ? Lead weight reduction efforts in collaboration with our simulation team. Reaching new materials to meet customers targets. ? Create and implement VAVE ideas to reduce cost for production. ? Lead SMC/RTM/FRP and cold mold enclosure design. ? Lead DOE ? Support programs from prototype to production.
