I am a Creative Leader, Graphic Designer, UI/UX Designer, Digital Illustrator, Indie Game Developer, and sometimes Musician, originally from Southern California. I have worked professionally as a creative professional for 10+ years, and have been creating art, music, and games my whole life.

I recently worked in NYC for 3 years (and now 3 more in San Diego) creating apps and games from the ground up, as well as custom branding and marketing for numerous startups. I enjoy working on projects and with people looking to make a real difference in the world, to positively affect people's everyday lives. I believe this is attainable in many mediums, and strive to stay versatile and wear many hats in order to do so. 

I am interested in the non-profit sector, as well as in interaction design and game development, both as a means of calling users to action, awareness, and to challenge emotion or opinion. I am currently working in the San Diego area and am open to seeking freelance opportunities.

I provide creative services to a number of different clients & organizations, from art & design work for local non-profit orgs, to animations, pixel art, & design for both commercial & indie games.

• Created official Pixel Art sprites & animations for "Stranger Things 3: The Game"
• Serve as a Board Member for the San Diego International Game Developers Association (IGDA)
• Organize the “Indie Creatives San Diego” Meetup for Indie Game Development, Music, & Comics
• Tabled & Demonstrated “Anxiety Adventure” at the Triton Game EXPO in San Diego
• Alumnus of “IndieCade” games festival after submitting indie game demo “R.E.M.”
• Showcased “R.E.M.” game demo to audience of over 200 playtesters at Microsoft’s NYC HQ

Designed concepts, wireframes, full renderings, & functioning prototypes for websites, apps, & game UI/UX, pertaining to cryptocurrency & blockhain based experiences and marketplaces.

• Functioned as the sole design/creative role in the company during a heavy transitional period
• Created custom branding & assets for rapid marketing / PR rollouts & new product pushes
• Worked within sales tools such as Click Funnels to optimize conversions & serve customers

Senior Web Designer

I developed UI/UX systems & visual content for several digital properties in the addiction industry.

• Built heavily tailored & specialized desktop & mobile UI/UX systems for a plethora of web sites
• Visually Directed & Produced branding & marketing materials for an addiction recovery podcast
• Created rich media & long form visual articles, including custom graphics, layouts, & interactions

Senior Content Designer

I develop user interface design for the Private WiFi mobile app, as well as branding and support graphics.

• Designed comprehensive “2.0” app experience for Android and IOS mobile and tablet platforms
• Updated Private WiFi branding to be more modern, progressive, and competitive

Freelance Graphic Designer

I was the senior graphic and user interface designer, working directly with both clients and internal staff to create visually striking and intuitive user experiences for mobile applications and games.

• Promoted to senior design position and creative team lead within first two months of work
• Served as creative lead of company and coached junior designers
• Designed interfaces for numerous apps and games from conception to completion
• Created custom branding and marketing support materials for various projects and clients

Senior Graphic Designer

I developed and designed the company logo, brand, and mascot, as well as designed the initial user interface templates for the near field communication mobile app and website. 

• Worked on presentation materials for Miller Lite “Tap the Future” Business Competition
• Served as a creative consultant for company brand decisions & visual strategy

Freelance UI & Graphic Designer

I created art assets & visual concepts for HTML5-based mobile games, contributed to game design, conceptualized online mobile game portal UI, & produced advertisement & promotional materials.

Graphic Design & Art Intern

I was promoted to the first non-student full-time designer in the organization after graduating. 

• Supervised and developed student designers and interns (4-8 per quarter)
• Assisted in department expansion from 3 students to over 20 students
• Created all branding and advertisements for 1st annual citywide CSUSB Ecofest Fair
• Conceptualized and produced official Student Union mascot “Odie Yotie”
• Updated and maintained Student Union web sites and digital monitor systems
• Represented Santos Manuel Student Union at several regional and national conferences
• Directed various video and motion graphics promotions

Lead Graphic Designer

I was brought onto a small three-student team to work on special projects and event advertising.

• Redesigned Student Union web site and digital display monitor interfaces
• Produced first Student Union Scheduling and Services informational brochure; 5000 were printed and distributed to various Southern California businesses and organizations
