SMIT - Store Manager in Training

I am currently an SMIT (Store Manager in Training). I  have a BS in Business  Management/ Marketing and AA in Visual Communications. I have  experience in Visual Merchandising and Retail Management. I am also fluent in Craft Beer.

•	Drives the business by maximizing daily sales plans, controls expenses and improves metrics, works with high volume (4 million+) location.
•	Coaches associates to meet personal and store goals through training and development. 
•	Attracts, selects and retains top talent. 
•	Acts as a Liaison between store team, District Manager, Regional Director, Human Resources and Store Operations.
•	Understands retail sales and their relationship to inventory levels and customer requests, communicates needs when necessary to district manager. 
•	Protects physical assets of the store by training and awareness of team, target programs and bi-annual physical inventory. 
•	Trains new associates on product knowledge on various brands and introduces new brands and key items when necessary. 
•	Top seller 5 weeks straight.

•	Drives business results by maximizing daily sales plans and improves metrics through floor leadership and execution of Francesca's training programs.
•	Manages employees on everyday tasks and continually coaches them to reach store and personal goals. 
•	Maintains, plans and coordinates visual merchandising directives and executes weekly store displays augmenting the company visual standards to compliment the uniqueness of the stores product mix.
•	Understands retail sales and the relationship to inventory levels, with the ability to communicate needs directly to the District Manager and Regional Director.
•	Utilizes company reports to determine sell through in certain categories of the boutique and tracks shifts on a weekly and monthly basis to implement new boutique changes to facilitate sales.
•	Implements new policies and procedures as well as handles human resources, payroll and scheduling for boutique. 
•	Helped make two different boutiques tier 1 stores.

•	In charge of all displays and executed merchandising changes for entire department store. 
•	Worked with Store Executive Team to assess opportunities to directly affect Business and worked with Merchandise Managers and District Merchants to plan quarterly set-ups.
