Led Operations for this Goldman Sachs Private Equity portfolio 880 employee company. Results:
▪ Oversaw supply chain network initiative to support revenue growth of 125%. Solution was a global 2 manufacturing/5 DC site solution which included a new 525K SF build-to-suit Dallas facility.  
▪ Spearheaded tariff mitigation, SKU rationalization and vendor consolidation project resulting in $7M of identified savings.
▪ Guided the hiring of China based sourcing team including implementation of vendor scorecards,
evaluation of existing vendor base and selection of new suppliers.
▪ Oversaw 3PL selection process for Dallas DC. Implementation resulted in > 98% order fulfillment
rate at start up.

Chief Operating Officer

▪ Oversaw all design/development aspects of a 35K SF brownfield factory vertically integrating manufacturing operations resulting in lead time reductions of 92% and a 3 fold increase in EBITDA via gross margin improvement, direct labor productivity and operational expense reductions.
▪ Led consolidation project of hard goods and soft goods warehouses in southern California resulting in a decrease of order fulfillment times of 43% and gross margin improvements of 800 basis points.
▪ Designed and led implementation of master plan bringing European licensee operations in house.
Also consolidated global raw material base resulting in 15% decrease of spend.
▪ Led implementation of DTC website including a custom 3D board builder along with associated
logistics to support domestic and international sales strategies.
▪ Developed and directed implementation of S&OP process for Hard Goods and Soft Goods resulting in inventory turns increasing from 3 to 12.
▪ Led on-time and on-budget SAP implementation; was company’s first ERP system.

Vice President Global Operations Channel Islands Surfboards

Restructured private equity owned company by shedding under-performing business segments improving from a net loss to 10% EBITDA. Oversaw all aspects of a 30K brownfield manufacturing and distribution facility. Increased Gross Margin 900 basis points due to transitioning raw materials and finished goods sourcing from domestic to Taiwan and China.

Division President - Progressive Suspension Inc

Re-organized strategic business units and consolidated 4 locations into one resulting in annual COGS savings of 15%.  Oversaw all aspects of the construction of an 85K SF shipyard for best-in-class carbon fiber yachts.

Managing Director

Implemented Lean Manufacturing methodologies and consolidated Supply Chain European Supply Chain base resulting in Gross Margin gains of 16% and on-time deliveries 98%.
