warehousing, distribution, and financial systems.  Effectively manages initiatives while supervising a team of five direct reports, directly impacting the level of service provided to clients that include Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart.

Within the first two months in this role, negotiated a three-year voice equipment upgrade and support plan.

Delivered a 20% increase in productivity and substantial cost savings by re-engineering the wireless networking system in warehouses in Tennessee and New Jersey, improving and accelerating voice-operated picking.  Led the RFP process, evaluating proposals and awarding bids to a Wi-Fi vendor. 

Spearheaded the migration of the company's EDI system to a cloud-based platform, generating $100K in annual savings and lowering the customer onboarding cycle by 50%.

Transitioned from a legacy Order Management System to an SAP S4 / HANA enterprise cloud solution, expediting the retrieval rate by 25% and capturing enhanced data security and integrity.  The new solution serves over 250 users and more than 200 trading partners.

Ensured the success of the company's pharmaceutical mail order operations, directing a global team of 50 development managers, project managers, developers, and architects, including over 30 individuals in the United Kingdom, Spain, and India.  Administered a $10MM operating budget and a $100MM project budget.  Scope of responsibilities included the creation of 
databases, capacity planning, employee development, and the management of vendor relationships to meet performance goals.

Delivered gains in ordering accuracy by integrating order routing and processing, common labels / literature information packets, and inventory management.

Minimized development defects in the Production environment through the formulation of a release management methodology that identified 99% of all defects during the QA phase.

Leveraged expertise in Maximo to innovate an automated, interactive issue entry tracking system.

Developed a single source of support documentation, for engineering, development, maintenance and desktop support utilizing an interactive component map.

Improved warehouse operations through the implementation of Oracle WMS, optimizing resource usage and material flows; verified and validated the performance of the interface between the dispensing and inventory management system.

Successfully managed as many as 25 concurrent projects. Specific projects included the design and deployment of the Automated Dispensing Delivery System (ADDS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Computer Aided Dispensing System (CADS), and Mail Manifest & Sorting System (MMS).

Director Systems Development & Support

Fulfilled a critical role optimizing and supporting IT processes and software applications in three distribution centers in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Southeast, with accountability for a $2MM operations budget and project budgets ranging from $1M to $10MM.  Directed the performance of a team of 15 including system and network administrators, help desk support specialists, 
project managers, and developers.  Recognized for implementing disaster recovery and a WAN connection between distribution centers.

Launched an IT call center department supporting 150 internal users and 5000 outside customers, improving the resolution rate to 90% of issues impacting costing, inventory control, scheduling, warehouse management, supply chain, logistics, and e-Commerce operations.

Deployed the Retalix ERP solution featuring voice-based fulfillment and replenishment, lowering order fulfillment costs by 10%.  Additionally, expanded adoption of a new online ordering system to 90% in two months through a training program for over 5000 store managers.

Increased operational efficiencies by 20% through applying supply chain and logistics integration methodology. 

Instituted a paperless delivery / billing process for MADCP, eliminating cost of processing, storage and retrieval, as well as a six-month backlog, using digital accounts payable system.

Achieved 90% usage of new web-based ordering system within two months through instructor-lead and e-learning training program for 5000+ stores across twelve states.
