Senior Technical Designer

Creative & Design

-	Currently managing all Women’s knit products for Gap Outlet line.  Previously managed Girls Denim and Woven products, and Girls and Toddler  Girls knit products. 
-	Create Illustrator sketches with construction details and specifications for development tech packs based off original samples or inspiration photos / sketches.
-	Lead fittings on live model with Merchants, Design and Production to identify fit issues. 
-	Create fit tech packages with pattern corrections and clear instruction to achieve the correct fit and construction.
-	Communicate daily with Vendors and International Gap Inc. offices via e-mail and Web Camera to resolve all issues.


-	Worked with Merchants on all sweater, knit and woven tops for the Charlotte Russe brand.
-	Led fit sessions and created fit comments in MS Power Point to explain fit and construction issues to Vendors.
-	Provided support to Domestic and Overseas Vendors to resolve all issues involving fit, construction and quality.


Technical Designer

-	Managed knit products for the Motherhood, Pea in the Pod, Mimi and Oh Baby! Lines. 
-	Created development packages for new designs including technical sketches, labeling information and initial specifications. 
-	Led fit sessions on live model with Merchants, Designers and Product Managers identifying and advising on all issues in order to achieve the desired fit and construction. 
-	Created fit and pre-production tech packages including comments, revised technical sketch and specifications as well as corrected patterns submitted by Vendors to demonstrate fit corrections.  
-	Communicated daily with Vendors overseas and domestically. 
-	Processed testing of garments to create legal care labels.
-	Technical designer for all products in the Celebrity lines Nicole for Nicole Richie and Lavish by Heidi Klum working closely with all involved to achieve desired look while keeping tight deadlines.


-	Assisted in Marketing and researching potential clients as well as creating office’s new website.
-	Assisted in bid process with Contractors, Engineers and Consultants and created Specifications.
-	Managed Interiors and Architectural library
