Ayden Hector attended high school and then enrolled at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he is working on earning a degree in business. Academically, he has been quite successful and is on schedule to graduate early in December 2023. Ayden is also a member of the Colorado State Rams football team. He has distinguished himself as an outstanding defensive back, garnering all-conference accolades despite participating in just seven of the team's games during the 2022 season. On October 7, 2022, he had a performance in which he had eight tackles, one interception, and one score, bringing his season total to 24 tackles and three interceptions.

Ayden is not only successful in his academic pursuits and athletic endeavors, but he is also genuinely dedicated to giving back to his community. While in high school, he founded an organization named B. Box. Its mission was to provide needy shelters in the area with birthday boxes every month. Today, he continues to manage B.Box and has formed a partnership with the food bank located on the campus of Colorado State University to make monthly delivery. In addition, he has donated his time to groups such as Pick 6, Relay for Life, and Tent City, which, individually and collectively, offer assistance to young people, the homeless, and those whose lives have been impacted by cancer.
