My passion has always been exploring new cultures and destinations through travel and adventuring in the mountains. My hope is to inspire others to pursue adventures - through travel and spending more time outside - by helping destinations and brands craft and share stories that inspire others. 

My experience reaches from strategic consultation, event planning, marketing, public relations and communications, in traditional and online forums. I am fortunate to work in a fast paced, creative environment, and enjoy the excitement of a continuously changing industry.  

I'm highly organized, an effective communicator and look forward to continuing to learn throughout my career. I'm detail oriented, and highly motivated in team and individual settings. 

Over the years I have served on the Ski Utah PR Committee, Utah Statewide Bicycle Coordination Committee and the Tour de Brewtah Planning Committee.

- Craft and execute strategic public relations programs to support the clients brand and marketing goals.  
Work closely with clients to identify and craft stories that resonate with the media and broader brand community.
- Consult on internal and external communications to ensure clients are effectively communicating with stakeholders, including strategic crisis communications support.  
- Execute in-person and virtual media events to maintain and build key relationships with the media.  
- Manage all aspects of the client-agency relationship, including the internal team, to ensure all goals are being met in a timely manner.  
- Execute SEO-based public relations campaigns to ensure clients are getting in front of "the right people at the right time" in the consumer decision journey.
- Manage several successful PR campaigns supporting diversity and inclusivity in the outdoors and client sustainability initiates. 
- Oversee day-to-day account activities, including: maintaining key media relationships, managing media lists, crafting creative and engaging pitch campaigns, monitoring client coverage, reporting, fact checking and vetting media requests.   
- Working with clients to leverage earned media coverage through their owned digital channels and affiliate marketing programs.
- Current and past clients have included: Outdoor Research, American Mountain Guides Association, Costa Sunglasses, SCARPA, Gregory Packs, Cascade Designs and 1Climb.

Senior Account Manager

- Worked closely with clients to develop digital marketing strategies to best engage and grow their online communities. 
- Managed email marketing campaigns, social media platforms and branded content to boost SEO, drive website visitation and conversions.
- Created monthly content calendars and marketing reports tracking channel performance.

Project Manager  

- Developed and executed the marketing, public relations and social media strategy for Jackson Hole’s fall conservation festival. 
- Executed a highly targeted print, digital and social media marketing campaign to grow brand awareness, drive registration and effectively communicate the festival experience.  
- Leverage relationships with local, regional and national media through direct pitching, press releases and social media to generate event coverage. 
- Manage the marketing and public relations budget.

Director of Marketing & Public Relations

- Oversaw the production of Jackson Hole’s multi-sport summer festival. 
- Cultivated and secured event sponsors and partners, meeting budgetary goals and creating community support. 
- Managed all aspects of the production, including: insurance, permitting, volunteers, schedule, music, food & beverage and safety. 
- Executed the marketing and public relations strategy to build event awareness and participation.

Event Director

- Strategized and lead the Utah Office of Tourism’s local, regional and national public relations efforts. 
- Increased earned media coverage of Utah’s year-round tourism products in target markets and publications based on visitor demographics.
- Created and facilitated media events, desk side appointments, promotions and familiarization tours. 
- Liaised with Utah’s tourism industry to identify travel related news and trends, as well as opportunities for partnerships. 
- Fielded and vetted media requests for interviews, visits and photography.
- Reported on updates and initiatives to the Utah Office of Tourism Board, partners and Utah Legislature. 
- Managed the Utah Office of Tourism’s PR Advisory Committee. 
- Participated in the Ski Utah PR Committee, Statewide Bicycle Coordination Committee and Tour de Brewtah Planning Committee.

Public Relations Manager

Leading guest activities for Marriott International to promote positive holiday experiences. This included creating, facilitating and marketing daily activities for casual and corporate guests. Activities included: tours, team building activities, outdoor adventures and client events.
