Hi, I'm Bethany. For over 15 years, solving puzzles and customizing solutions to make information engaging and visually interesting has fueled my passion for design.&nbsp; Overcoming challenges requires skills, and I have developed well-balanced, hand-rendered and digital artistic skills paired with an understanding of strategic communication to reach targeted audiences across all communication channels.&nbsp;

Produced 300-400 pieces of print and digital media annually to promote
and support the bank brand, products, and services. Led work with agency partner to evolve Tradition for Today campaign standards into
robust and flexible document to allow for consistency across varied
applications and audiences. Oversaw hiring process and mentored
summer intern to complete three large-scale projects in three-months.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure projects are produced in a timely,
professional, and budget-conscious manner. Worked both independently and in collaborative team environments across departments meeting or
exceeding project expectations.

Managed workload of print and digital projects using Zoho project
management software. Redesigned and relaunched employee intranet
using Onsemble to provide an updated and more streamlined user
experience to increase awareness and user engagement. Assisted in using EpiServer CMS to keep external website updated with important
announcements, new product and service offerings, and financial
education resources for customers.

Digital Marketing Designer II

Lead designer for evacuation map creation for brands such as Marriott,
Hyatt, Hilton. Ensured that maps designs met state and city fire codes.
Oversaw deliverables calendar with multiple weekly projects, different
timelines, and priorities and assigned work to 3-5 staff members to meet
project deadlines consistently.

Wayfinding Coordinator

Created and managed brand standards for print, web, and social
graphics to promote Old Town San Diego State Historic Park museums,
vendors, events, and activities. Utilized brand standards to evoke
design aesthetics of the 1800s for a modern audience and a cohesive
look across printed materials, park signage, social media channels,
and web site. Established a graphic design internship program with three different colleges: the Art Institute of California-San Diego, San
Diego State University, and the San Diego community college network.
Interviewed, selected applicants, assigned projects, and evaluated more
than 10 interns during my tenure. Established social media presence on
Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Pinterest. Managed monthly and
annual social media calendars, created graphics and copy for posts, and garnered a community of over 10,000 followers.
