As Sales Representative and Project Engineer at The Pennant Companies Inc., I was in charge of the acquisition and management of accounts for the company’s multiple subsidiaries, as well as directing all aspects of expanding market coverage and identifying potential opportunities for growth. Within my first year of tenure, we have accumulated $30 million in potential business and successfully identified more than 90 new accounts. 

Prior to joining The Pennant Companies, I played a key role in the founding of Trimtek Manufacturing by orchestrating the purchase of a Crotty Corporations service parts unit as an extension of my career at Crotty Corporation. I had a five-year career in Trimtek Manufacturing as Business Development, Sales, and Engineering Account Representative. My leadership capacity is essentially the product of my executive role as President and CEO of Crotty Corporation after starting as the company’s Director of Engineering, Research and Development, and Sales Representative in 1988. I also founded and operated my own plastic injection company called Montpelier Plastic, LTD until 2006.

For the past 20 years, my career has been highlighted by the successful creation of unique marketing approaches and strategic business relationships. While my achievements have certainly given me a great sense of fulfillment, the greatest thing about my career is that I get to see the fruits of my creativity and vision transformed into physical reality. Most people consider work to be done at present as their career, the business solutions that I design on the other hand certainly will have to transcend the present time to be called a success and that makes all the difference.

Sales Representative & Project Engineer
Acquire new and manage existing accounts for multimillion-dollar subsidiaries of The Pennant Companies and leading manufacturers of stamped and roll formed metal products/services. Conduct competitor, feasibility, and market research to target prospective customers and identify growth opportunities. Design marketing/sales materials. Prepare quote documents, track all quoting activity, issue purchase orders, and generate monthly sales reports. Perform internal ISO 9001 audits and participate in quality SOP design. Review/interpret blueprints and CAD files.
•	Delivered $30M+ in potential business within first year of tenure, identifying more than 90 new accounts.
•	Found 30 additional suppliers for tooling, plastic injection, springs, and plating as well as prototype and metal fabricators, significantly streamlining quote generation process.
•	Won accounts in appliance, automotive, construction, heavy truck, industrial motors, solar, and fastener industries.
•	Secured $800K, 5-year contract (starting 2016) with new client for stamping and automotive assembly.

Promoted from sales position and selected to manage production company manufacturing automotive interior trim components with $58M in annual sales and 800+ employees. Oversaw production of 5 plants that made more than 8M parts per year (supplying 25% of the automotive market). Principal customers included GM, Ford, Saturn, Toyota, Nissan, and Subaru. Led business development, market positioning, P&L analysis, and budget administration. Set up and maintained accurate price history models for current and future programs. Handled all production part approval process (PPAP) requirements for new programs and facilitated QA and supplier audits.

Montpelier Plastic, LTD, Montpelier, OH	1992–2006
Owner/Operator
Founded thermal injection molding manufacturer as sole supplier for Crotty Corporation. Supervised strategic planning, budget forecasting and management, and sales for production company with annual revenue of $8M and 50+ employees. Primary products included sun visor plastic components, insert molding, corners for school cots, and wall mounts for homes. Created/maintained vendor list, determined CTQ parameters, and handled QC for PPAP.
•	Increased revenue from $500K to $8M by conceiving business development methods and cost-saving measures.
•	Achieved 10%–30% expense reduction by executing vertical integration management strategy.
•	Cut overhead and labor costs by utilizing advancements in robotics to improve production and enhance efficiency.
•	Successfully negotiated sale of company to Canadian corporation in 2006.
