My name is Briana Filippi as you're probably well aware by now. A little more about me, I am ridiculously obsessed with anything and everything beach related, which explains my love for swimwear. In addition to that, I'm a big fan of skateboarding, snowboarding and surfing, so I see myself in the Action Sports Industry as well. Originally from the Bay Area, I followed my dreams to Los Angeles in 2013 with the hopes of pursuing a career in Fashion Design. Soon after I completed my Associate of Arts Degree in Fashion Design at FIDM and set out to start my career. Starting in the fall of 2015 through last fall  I  worked as an Associate Designer for a company called Belldini, who specialize in missy knitwear and sweaters. In November I was promoted to Designer and put in charge of revamping the higher end line, Belldini Black Label. For the first time we ventured into producing  bottoms, dresses and wovens. My designs have been featured in the likes of Bloomingdales, Macy's.com, Stein Mart, Burlington, Ross, and TJ Max. In addition to designing, I have also gained vast experience in areas of merchandising, selling, production and communication with overseas vendors. I have also traveled overseas to meet with vendors, overseen photoshoots, assisted with photo editing, as well as worked on layout design for catalogs, look books and trend reports.
