Report directly to visionary CEO, Dee Murthy, in execution of a focused, multifaceted Men’s & Women’s brand message that is cohesive throughout all areas of the business

Maintain strong knowledge of trends in advertising and design pertinent to the millennial consumer

Mentor Design and Marketing teams to hone and develop creative problem solving skills, efficiency and time management

 Utilize extensive knowledge of trends, fabrications, technical garment construction and sourcing to transition brand’s assortment from basic printable tees to a full sportswear collection encompassing knits, wovens, bottoms, outerwear and accessories

 Create fashion denim program responsible for 25% of e-commerce volume; secure multi-retailer, brick & mortar launch of range
 
Attend/lead fit sessions to ensure adhesion to production calendar; work with Technical Design team to establish block library

 Extensive international travel to grow and maintain relationships with vendors, explore sourcing opportunities and shop foreign markets

Supervise planning and execution of digital assets and social media posts, programs and campaigns

 Explore all opportunities for brand exposure and endorsements; lead measures to develop strong relationships with fashion bloggers, celebrities and athletes with an emphasis on leveraging the power of social media influencers

Aggressively pursue licensing opportunities and partnerships with iconic brands and individuals such as 21 Savage, Fetty Wap, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Paramount Pictures (Clueless), Cartoon Network and Cup Noodles; negotiate terms and review contracts with legal team

Communicate directly with Buyers at key retailers PacSun, Macy’s and Forever 21; present seasonal lines; create SMU products based on individual retailer needs

Identify and prioritize opportunities that provide revenue growth and margin improvement

Partner with Director of E-commerce to oversee day-to-day management of website, specifically product pricing, photography and descriptions; curate all site visuals

Work directly with digital agency ADMIXT to strategize and execute creative components of Facebook, Instagram and email advertising campaigns

 Primary Duties: Head Designer of the Rogue State Young Men’s collection for department and specialty stores

o Designed all product classifications: knits, wovens, bottoms, denim and outerwear; worked closely with technical design team to revise and develop fit
o Lead graphic designers in reimagining brand aesthetic to match market trends; personally designed and executed compelling graphic designs
o Collaborated with Owners, Sales, and Director of Marketing to re-launch brand as a Young Men’s collection
o Partnered with Director of Marketing in creation of social media pages, look-books, brand imagery and the launch of the ecommerce website; provided aesthetic direction pertinent to the male millennial consumer
o Traveled extensively with CEO and Sales to present collection to key retailers and independently to execute sample line

Secondary Duties: Managed Express Private Label Outerwear account; worked directly with Express VP of Design and tech team in execution of original and customer
specified designs
