Cadence is a dedicated professional with multiple category experience in the apparel industry. Having a passion for the great outdoors and environmental conservation and restoration she aims to better our planet through action based non-profits and helping the apparel industry make better choices. As an outdoor enthusiast who was born and raised in Alaska and now living in California she spends most of her free time surfing, camping, running, hiking and any other outdoor activity. She aspires to help any projects that include surf/ocean conservation and aims to work for an apparel brand that is trying to do better by our planet!

Freelance Women's Collection Designer

• Managing the entire line of Men's and Women's Off Price from concept to development.
• Communicating directly with all vendors for development and wash direction.
• Responsible for all submit reviews and approvals.
• Partnering with the Senior Merchandiser to assort each seasonal line plan and present at adoption
meetings.

Denim Designer and Product Development

• A project I created from concept to develop bio-based and biodegradable outdoor performance
apparel.

• Designing and updating seasonal designs and details: sketch, wash selection fabric, SPI and trim
• Timely updates on PLM and Illustrator.

• Illustrator sketches for all three collections: Casual, Ready to wear and precious Collection.
• Sourced fabric and trim including attended fabric fairs and established relationships with overseas
suppliers.
• Developed Casual Anne Fontaine line providing market research and concept.

Assistant Fashion Designer

• Developed and constructed garments for fittings and samples.
• Helped backstage at NYFW, dressing models and preparing their collection.

Fashion Design Internship

• Developed and constructed garments for private collection and clientele.
• Assisted Production Manager in day-to-day functions.
• Assisted Patternmaker with cutting and drafts for samples and production.

Fashion Design Apprentice

• Assisted with the Pre-Fall lookbook photoshoot organization and placement of looks.
• Presented seasonal collections to major clients and fashion press including:
Anna Wintour and Barney's, press presentations, and Market Week.
