Paid Digital Media Analyst

Responsible for managing clients' Paid Search, Display, Programmatic, and Paid Social campaigns—ensuring that all performance and budget goals are met.

SEO Optimization including Keyword Research, writing Meta-Descriptions, and writing Title Tags. Familiarity with Yoast, Wordpress, and Moz.

Utilizing Tableau and Google Analytics for ongoing reporting and campaign analysis.

Analyzing and using data to make informed decisions on bids, ad copy, and landing page performance.

Reporting and communicating of results/ideas within the agency and client teams.

New campaign creation including keyword research, ad copy writing, and implementation of paid search best practices.

Ongoing account optimization, including structure & targeting improvements (geo, demographic, audiences, day-parting, keyword and URL), search query mining, keyword expansion, negative keywords, and improvement of bid management processes.

Management of multiple campaign flight dates and campaign spend management.

Meeting all ongoing reporting requirements as needed, to keep clients and peers informed.


Customer service: Communicating with prospective and enrolled students via phone, online chat, and email regarding NOLS experiences and policies.

Maintaining knowledge of all NOLS pillars to attract and recommend Risk Services, Custom Education, Wilderness Medicine, and Expedition courses.

Lead nurturing, cultivation, and generation with a focus on Inbound methodologies.

Travel recruitment tours at universities and schools including film screenings, gap year fairs, and trade shows.

Representing NOLS at Events such as Banff Film tour stops, community events, and the AORE Conference.

Customer Relationship Management with the Hubspot Marketing and Sales Software.

Cross-departmental projects regarding research, project management, and initiative and product development.

Brand Ambassador

Craft, procure, and schedule content for the NOLS Social Media channels while fostering an engaged, respectful and inclusive online NOLS community—over 100k social followers across platforms.

Create and manage NOLS’ Facebook and Instagram Digital Advertising, as well as, provide support for Search Engine Advertising.

On-board and supervise the NOLS PR & Marketing intern.

Build and maintain relationships with online alumni, staff and larger community when appropriate.

Answer questions for prospective students, parents, and alumni.

Train NOLS staff and interns, when applicable, in participation and use of social media for NOLS.

Maintain a system for measuring the reach and effectiveness of the NOLS social media channels.

Collaborate with Writer/PR to create stories for the NOLS blog.

Attend events, travel to NOLS locations, to seek out and share stories, photos.

Work with web content administrator to integrate social media onto nols.edu and ensure best practices for content posted to social media channels.

Social Media Coordinator

Retail sales, customer service, cash handling, managing the register, stocking inventory, providing product recommendations, as well as communicating issues and making recommendations to supervisors based on customer feedback.
