Arrow Factory Brewing

Craft brewery in Beijing, China. This was an adventure and a passion project. In a couple of years we went from brewing in buckets in the hutongs to a 1000 liter a week brewhouse and taproom, with tier 1 city bottle distribution, with no outside funding. I can honestly say it's the best beer in Beijing and I'm also quite happy with the design work.
I created the branding, designed all the labels, signage and marketing materials as well as three locations for the company; a restaurant, a taproom and the brewhouse. For two of these I custom designed all the furniture from recycled materials, which were then built by a group of awesome local craftsmen.

With a very talented team, I worked as creative lead with main focus on ideation and conceptualization for the global Adidas Originals 2009 campaign, involving all facets of the campaign including print, web, event and television. On set my primary responsibility were the viral videos. Yes, I shook hands with Beckham. No, I don't care much about football... or soccer. I like good ads though. The campaign set the direction for the brand for the coming four years and won a bunch of awards but more interestingly, the TV spot was spoofed by the Simpsons.
