I am a recent graduate of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in New York, where I concentrated in intellectual property and entertainment law. With nearly a decade of work and volunteer experience in the entertainment industry, I am now looking to evolve in this industry as a legal professional. I have always been passionate about music and visual arts, and am seeking a career exploring and expanding the relationship between law and the entertainment industry. In addition to my education, work and volunteer experience in the legal and entertainment industries, I also have extensive experience and education in advertising, marketing, media planning and client relations. 

Advised colleagues on trending musicians across target demographics and how to place advertisements to reach them. Compiled and shared daily research on up and coming artists, events and festivals. Reviewed artist booking and venue contracts, researched legal issues relating to radius clauses and licensing. Counseled CEO on brand marketing and advertising to gain awareness of the company, and researched trademark and copyright issues relating to branding.

Artist Booking & Marketing Consultant

Working directly under one of the top partners in the firm with a lens on large-scale insurance defense, researched issues of law and drafted mediation briefs, deposition summaries, motions to renew and compel, responses to demands and to plaintiffs' bills of particulars. Researched and wrote legal memoranda surrounding issues including intellectual property, primarily copyright infringement and cryptocurrency, labor law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and civil procedure. Attended mediations, depositions, trials, and motion hearings.

Law Clerk

Drafted bench memoranda. Researched summary judgment and other federal civil procedure issues. Observed civil and criminal federal court proceedings. Worked closely with Judge Scullin's law clerk and other court personnel.


Judicial Intern to the Honorable Senior Judge Frederick J. Scullin

Managed and coordinated marketing, advertising, and promotion for Creative Concerts and shows. Worked with agents and artists to coordinate social media, print, and radio advertising. Managed and advised team members on creating artist posters, monthly flyers, and marketing plans. Organized and delegated tasks with fast-moving deadlines to keep up with the pace of the live music industry.

Director

Worked directly under the Sr. VP of Local Media Client Services. Created and conducted instructional presentation on new internal software system. Compiled data and created presentations for management pitches and client meetings. Helped prepare statistics and other data sets for client contract renewals of over $10 million. Refreshed and modernized corporate presentation and newsletter templates as leave-behinds for the New York Nielsen office.

Local Client Services Intern

Optimized and maintained social media accounts for Made Off label artist Minty Burns to increase follower count and fan engagement. Initiated conversations with venues and tour managers for booking artists, including Minty Burns at SXSW Festival 2015. Organized and distributed promotional materials, including electronic artist content and physical goods.
