Product Development/Technical Design

Experienced Technical Designer with a demonstrated history of working in the apparel and fashion industry. Technical Designer

-Technical development of main collection in ready-to-wear knits, accessories (handbags, sun hats etc.)
-Techpack development incorporating technical sketches, construction call-outs, BOM’s, Pattern Details and Graded Measurements
- Graphic Techpack development for printers including color call-outs and sizing of all art
- Set up and conducted all fittings with Fit Model
- Communicated all fit and construction comments with local and overseas vendors and factories
- Reviewed strike-offs and lab dips for all production

Director Of Technical Design

-Technical development of main collections in swimwear, swim cover-ups and loungewear including Hailee Steinfeld, Naomi Osaka, Alo and Wildflower collaborations
-Developed and created all CAD linesheets for each collection
-Techpack development incorporating technical sketches, construction call-outs, BOM's, Pattern details and graded measurements
-Set up and conducted weekly fittings with fit model, Design Director and Design team
-Communicated all fit and construction comments with local and overseas vendors and factories
-Sourced fabrics, trims and components for swimwear and apparel
-Worked closely with 1st patternmaker on all new development styles

-Technical development of main collections in swimwear and swim cover-ups (knits/wovens; dresses, tops, and bottoms)
-Techpacks incorporating technical sketches, starting from initial sample specifications through to final production specifications including, grading, labeling requirements, fabrication and garment construction details
-Attend all fittings to communicate fit corrections with patternmaker and send comments to local and overseas factories through production process
-Maintain techpack, specs and sew-by sample library

-Techpack development of main collection including women’s shapewear, intimates, maternity and post pregnancy wear 
-Attend weekly fittings, took detailed notes and photos to communicate any construction and fit changes to domestic and overseas vendors and factories

-Work closely with Design Director to develop main collection
-Assist in studio and on-location photoshoots
-Coordinating and tracking of all salesman sample development
-Fabric sourcing
-Attend weekly fittings
-Communicate fit corrections, comments to overseas factories
-Techpack development incorporating technical sketches, grading, labeling requirements, folding instructions, fabrication and garment construction details
