• Reviewing of current lines to develop line extensions and discuss development of new styles to add to current lines • Report status of all projects and issues to Product Development Manager on a daily basis to ensure all product deadlines are met • Review new styles with CEO and Product Development Manager to understand vision and concept • Create and complete technical sketches for all silhouettes to be developed • Create and maintain specs and size grading for Women’s, Men’s, and Youth products • On-going communication with factories and respond to any technical questions • Conduct fittings and document necessary changes. Communicate changes to factories on new development from fitting and request new fitting samples • Measuring and recording dimensions of both WIP and pre-production samples • Approval of TOP and Production Samples • Maintaining organization of all WIP and pre-production samples • Development of new fabrics and colors for new products and line extensions through communication with factories to get desired color. Assist Product Development Manager in final approval of color/labdips for new products •Travel to MAGIC twice a year to attend sourcing, learn more about upcoming trends, and attending seminars.
