A little about myself, I went to Vanguard University of Southern California where I obtained my Bachelors in Communication and a Minor in Film/Digital Media. I then went on a journey that consisted of many career paths which has helped mold me into an all around candidate. I started with a Marketing Internship with the Anaheim Bolts, which is now the Ontario Fury a professional indoor soccer team. Following this position I became a Video Editor in which I had the ability to tell stories of breast cancer survivors. This company, a non-profit, is called Barbells for Boobs in which specializes in early detection for breast cancer. Next up, a coaching internship in Mexico for a professional soccer team. Here I was in charge of helping in day-to-day operations including administration and logistical work. As I returned from Mexico I landed a job at UCLA Women's Soccer as the Director of Video & Analytics. Here I assist in day-to-day operations of the program, take on special assignments and administrative work assigned to me by the head coach. I assist in recruiting, breaking down film and providing statistical analysis of our team and future opponents. I help in coordinating summer camps and other special events. I work with the athletes individually whether it is on the field or off the field with school and mentoring. Next is working for Newport Mesa Unified School District as a Substitute Teacher. I only do this part time when my schedule is flexible enough to do so. Lastly, I help run a family business in which I have worked since I graduated High School. I am a manager of our local shop here in Costa Mesa which is a Mexican food restaurant/market. I've learned all the business side of things here from accounting, marketing, and managing. 

As you can see I am the "jack" of many trades and I feel that I would be a great fit in any position that I set my mind on with my tremendous work ethic. I adapt quick to change, learn fast, take initiative, analytical thinker, problem solver, and love working as a team. To top it off I am also Bilingual; fluent in both English and Spanish. 

Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories. Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends. Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios. Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Manager

Direct the learning procedure in the direction of accomplishing curriculum objectives and goals as implied in the lesson plans for projects, lessons or units assigned.
Make use of instructional procedures and materials in which are most suitable for attaining lesson goals.
Go through the attendance according to the procedures of the school.
Ensure an orderly and tidy classroom and may need to keep tables and chairs well arranged and clear of the chalkboard.
Adhere to all procedures, guidelines, and policies followed by regular teachers in line with recommended teaching procedures.
Ensure a sustainable relationship with parents, pupils, school personnel and members of the public by communicating in a confidential, polite and refined manner.

Substitute Teacher

As Director of Video & Analytics I assist in day-to-day operations of the women's soccer program, assist with special video and or administrative projects assigned by the head coach, coordinate film exchange with non-conference and conference opponents, compile and provide initial analysis of future opponents, and provide live game statistics to the coaching staff. In addition, I also coach in various of our UCLA Soccer Camps. Work with athletes on an individual basis both on the field and off the field.

Director of Video & Analytics

As the Varsity Associate Head Coach at Estancia High School I help run the boys program to be successful in all aspects that range from having a strong boosters program to the development of student athletes. Throughout our coaching partnership we have obtained 2 league championships, 5 CIF playoff appearances where we have made it as far as the Semi-Finals. We like to build our team as a family, keep them disciplined not just in soccer, but in school as well. We serve as mentors to our players and like to help them be better individuals in life and better athletes on the soccer field.

Venados FC is a professional soccer team that is currently in the Professional Ascenso MX league. As an assistant to the coaching staff, lead by former Mexican national player Juan Carlos Chavez, I helped with all aspects of preparation, management, administrative, and tactical aspects. Preparation included with daily planning of practice sessions: tactical, strength/conditioning, recovery. I also helped in the preparation of film sessions. I assisted in the creation and reviewing of game film. Helped with team logistics and to run practice sessions with players that didn’t travel to some away games.

Assistant Soccer Coach Internship

Barbells for Boobs is a non-profit organization that raises funds to provide mammograms for breast cancer detection. They provide them to individuals who aren’t covered by insurance or that cannot afford it. At Barbells for Boobs I work with the Media Director and do the Video Editing for small documentaries that he shoots. These stories include breast cancer survivors that they helped detect the cancer by providing them with a Mammogram.

Ontario Fury is a professional indoor soccer team in which I worked in video production. My job was to develop all aspects of storytelling through the use of images, video and music by utilizing your skills in pre and post-production with a clear expertise in editing. Collaborate with video team and other internal teams on creative development and production of all assigned projects. Maintain proper organization of all physical and digital projects, files and assets. Understanding and maintaining production workflow processes. Effectively communicate ongoing project status with the video team and leadership team members. Writing outlines, scripts, and storyboards for video packages Stay abreast of new trends in content and technology in the editing, motion graphic and video production communities and suggest and share new ways to implement these trends/technologies.

Video Production

This served as an Internship. The Anaheim Bolts were the new professional sports team in Southern California, they have closed its doors down in Anaheim and have now relocated to Ontario, CA as the Ontario Fury. Create, manage and execute video production for high profile, professional sports team. Direct and oversee the visual capture and edit of live games for video distribution quickly after original broadcast. Coordinate with creative and production staff of professional sports team to maximize video content. Ensure that video/digital content is compelling and entertaining to current fans while engaging and drawing in new fans to develop new audiences using video.

Marketing Intern

Performed the tasks of regulating costs of products for the grocery store. Ordered and received necessary merchandise to sell in the store. Managed the stock team. Dealt with various providers such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Bimbo, Red Bull, Monster Energy Drink, ect. This job required organization skills, communication skills, management skill, negotiation skills, customer service skills, multi-tasking, sales, and computer skills. Created advertisements for certain products to increase sales and profit.

Merchandising

Hired as a seasonal employee. I performed the tasks of selling merchandise during the busy Holiday season. The job required great communication skills, sales skills, multi-tasking skills, and organization skills.
