Full Package Technical Designer & Pattern Maker  (Fit Technician)

Objective: To obtain a position that utilizes my experience, creativity and passion to produce a unique and sellable product that meets intended aesthetic, fit, construction and workmanship requirements for the design through production approval process.


•	Compile information on all garment components including fit, fabric, construction, grading and trim into fit comment documents and spec sheets
•	Create complete patterns with detailed pattern cards and garment specifications from reference sketches, store bought samples and photos utilizing Gerber and Microsoft software
•	Trouble-shoot potential production issues to resolve before samples are made for aesthetic and cost purposes


•	Created and maintained proto through TOP patterns from design sketches that ensured samples met design’s intent on styling, fit and construction
•	Effectively ran fittings and adjusted patterns as per designer and merchandiser requests


Technical Designer/Pattern Maker

•	Provided fit comments that included technical direction on how to improve the fit and construction of a garment for overseas factories using Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft
•	Updated tech packs and patterns with any requested design changes that impact standards, cost or aesthetics from the samples and communicated such changes with factories


Technical Designer/1st Pattern Maker

•	Assisted with making and adjusting patterns using Gerber software
•	Completed sewing instructions for tech packs and reviewed and updated BOMs and fabric/trim sheets with design team
