Owning a digital print store on Etsy comes with a range of responsibilities. As a store owner, you are responsible for creating and designing high-quality digital prints for your customers. You need to keep your shop up-to-date by regularly adding new designs, responding to customer queries, and managing orders. You also need to ensure that your products are accurately represented in the store listings and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely responses to feedback and reviews. In addition to these operational responsibilities, you must also manage the financial aspects of your business, including tracking expenses and revenue, managing taxes, and developing pricing strategies that are competitive within the market.

Co-Owner

In 2018, my spouse initiated an organic custom clothing and print design enterprise from our residence. Subsequently, with a steady escalation in demand, I joined the company as a marketing and social media manager for the online shop. Since the inception of the business, we have expanded our revenue streams and achieved over 1500 individual sales. My duties encompass, among others:

In this capacity, I effectively communicated with Malibu Boats to provide technical diagnostics, warranty resolution, and technical training to ensure customer satisfaction.

As part of my responsibilities, I also oversaw the warranty department protocols, ensuring that all procedures and policies were adhered to in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, I served as the lead test captain for both diagnostic and new/used boat delivery, overseeing the entire process from start to finish.

As a key member of the sales team, I have been responsible for supporting key accounts and ensuring a seamless customer journey throughout the entire order process. In my role as the main operations point of contact, I have successfully communicated and collaborated across the entire organization to ensure order accuracy, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.

My primary responsibilities have included managing the order entry process from manual input, validation, amendments, and processing, ensuring accurate order acknowledgments, processing returns, and resolving any issues that may arise. Furthermore, I have monitored our B2B sales platform to ensure that product availability and sales information are accurate across all platforms, communicating any discrepancies to sales and demand planners.

I have also played a crucial role in maintaining our customer database and ensuring correct system mapping. Additionally, I have worked closely with product, marketing, and IT teams to provide accurate data across all systems, absorbing comprehensive knowledge of products and inventory.

In this capacity, I have gained direct experience working with ERP, EDI, B2B eCommerce portals, and mainstream CRM, including Zendesk. Customer Service Representative

During my tenure as a producer at the Insurance Center, I undertook several crucial responsibilities. I meticulously analyzed the risk of current and potential clients and utilized my expertise to apply appropriate insurance coverages that aligned with their requirements. Moreover, I maintained clear and concise communication with clients and companies to ensure they fully comprehended all aspects of their policies.

As part of my sales goals, I initiated contact with prospects through cold calling and community networking, generating leads and expanding our customer base. My efforts were reflected in my exceptional performance, having sold $301,000 in premium within the first two years of employment.

In addition, I was appointed to the CRM transition team to facilitate and integrate an office-wide CRM platform upgrade. I played a vital role in understanding the new program and educating colleagues for a seamless transition. Furthermore, I successfully headed the 2018 health open enrollment season, where I met with over 100 clients to quote, propose, and write new and existing business between November 1st and December 15th. Through my contributions and expertise, I consistently delivered excellent results at the Insurance Center.

Producer

I gained significant marketing experience as an account manager at SixSpeed, a creative agency that specializes in helping adventurous brands stand out from the competition. In my role, I owned and managed client relationships with leading brands like Supra and Moomba Boats, KTM, and Federal Premium. As the main point of contact, I was responsible for leading all account operations, including account planning, strategy, and financial meetings to achieve both agency and account goals.

I proactively sought out opportunities to deepen existing client relationships while also growing key account billings by 154%. In addition, I managed a total of $1.4 million in revenue for two luxury boat brands, $50,000 in revenue for an outdoor ammunition brand, and $25,000 for an adventure motorcycle company.

One of my significant accomplishments was developing a successful Go-to-Market strategy for Syntech by Federal Premium, including new product introductions, experiential marketing, design and execution of marketing campaigns, and creating sales support deliverables. Moreover, I led a successful re-brand strategy for two premium boat brands, creating collateral that included a new, state-of-the-art WordPress website with an industry-leading boat configurator supplied with 10,000+ CGI assets. Throughout my time at SixSpeed, I leveraged my knowledge, experience, and strategy to develop marketing collateral and achieve account goals.

Account Manager

In my role as a Consumer Service representative at Polaris, I served as a liaison between end-users and the company's dealer network, ensuring that the voice of the consumer was heard and acted upon. As the subject matter expert for all communications related to the SNOW product group, I provided support to customers, external partners, and internal service personnel. In addition, I supported the outsource contact center personnel with the tools, processes, and information necessary to drive customer satisfaction.

I achieved silver status technical training in snowmobile, ORV, and Generators, and excelled as the snowmobile, off-road, and generator subject matter expert. Through networking with product groups and technical groups, I maintained a proactive level of information flow in a fast-paced department. I demonstrated ownership and understanding of the snow/ORV/generator customer experience, retention plan, and product life cycle, and participated in the development, execution, and follow-through of loyalty-building plans to meet or exceed customer expectations.

I facilitated problem solving, research, and problem/dispute resolution between Polaris dealers, Technical Service representatives, and Polaris end-users. By analyzing and organizing metrics and data, I was able to identify areas for improvement and enhance consumer satisfaction. As a key contributor and editor to the growing consumer-facing knowledge base, I ensured that accurate and relevant information was available to customers and internal personnel. Finally, I operated the Polaris Generator consumer-facing chat platform to evaluate and address Polaris Generator general and technical questions and concerns.

As the owner and operator of a personally-owned photography company immediately following graduation, I successfully developed and executed online and print advertising campaigns to drive sales. I was responsible for performing product demonstrations and clinics to help customers better understand the products and how they work. In addition to these responsibilities, I was also in charge of managing the sale of the products and providing exceptional customer support, including after-the-sale services and support. This required excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Ultimately, your goal as a Technical Sales Rep is to build lasting relationships with customers and help drive sales for the company.

 Technical Support Specialist

As a member of Minnesota Inboard, the top Malibu and Axis boat dealership in the nation, I oversaw the retail equipment, parts, and accessories at two locations. In this role, I was instrumental in developing and maintaining effective social media campaigns on various platforms, implementing SEO and AdWords, and utilizing Google analytics to promote website and sales floor promotional campaigns to achieve and surpass sales goals while broadening our digital reach. To create a strong brand strategy, I photographed and filmed all aspects of the company for use in the marketing mix. Additionally, I facilitated the relocation and merchandising of our new multi-million-dollar headquarters and sales floor. I possess experience in opening and managing a wakeboard cable park facility, where I trained individuals of various ages and skill levels in wakeboarding and related activities. As a responsible instructor, I ensured the safety of students both on and off the boat, and maintained CPR certification. Additionally, I was responsible for the upkeep of boats and equipment, and played an active role in promoting and marketing the facility throughout the year.
