My role there is to own and drive the Direct to Consumer channel, utilizing on-demand licensed apparel (under ProSphere brand) sold on our own site (SportswearU.com) as well as online marketplaces (Amazon and Wal-Mart primarily).

TAA is a leader in the team athletic apparel market, developing and manufacturing apparel at the San Marcos, CA headquarters as well as Mexico, C. America and Asia. TAA offers 30,000+ skus in 12 sports for team uniforms, fanwear and casual wear. In the past year-plus, TAA has expanded both product offering and distribution to include activewear/athleisure and licensed apparel sold via B2C and B2B2C channels.

My role with the company over the past 7+ years has evolved and changed as the marketplace and needs of the organization have changed. I now oversee the Product Development (cradle to grave), Licensing and Sourcing aspects of the organization and drive strategy in Sales/Marketing and E-Commerce.

Product Development Manager
Duties by areas of concentration:
Product Development
•	Manage PD team of 10+ of product managers, pattern makers, technical designers, graphic designers
•	Responsible for all products – appropriate fit, style, price for the marketplace; including lifecycle management, end of life distribution
o	Blank stock products
o	On-demand custom products
•	Competitive analysis for all markets: team uniforms, active, custom, licensed, B2B and B2C
•	Forecasting, sourcing, P&L management
•	New materials development and sourcing

•	Oversee development and implementation of decoration strategy – sublimation, vinyl, DTG, screen print

Business Development/Licensing
•	Assist with the establishment of relationships with retail partners (Dick’s SG, Stage Stores, Epic Sports, Teamsportswear.com)
•	Set up licensing strategy and infrastructure, from application, submission/approval process, compliance for CLC, Learfield Licensing and Affinity (Greek) to provide on-demand apparel solutions for underserved consumers
•	Managed co-branding/white label relationships with Easton Hockey, Baunfire Sports

E-Commerce
•	Provide strategic direction for B2C portal (sportswearunlimited.com)
•	Online merchandising strategy and execution
•	Development and ownership of Digital Asset Mgmt system and Liquid Pixels rendering code to maximize online showcase of custom on-demand apparel
