Pacific-West Coast Sales Rep

TYR Sport is a leading edge competitive swim, triathlon, diving and water polo apparel manufacturer. We are proud sponsors of many elite competitive swimmers, triathletes, divers and aquatic governing bodies such as USA Swimming, USA Water Polo, USA Triathlon and USA Masters Swimming.

· Educate existing and motivate accounts on current and future promotional efforts through presentations, merchandising plans exhibiting product knowledge and marketing plans.
· Service and coordinate sponsored swim teams through activation and fulfillment of sponsorship programs.
· Administrative duties including Salesforce administration, entering orders on B2B and AS400. 
· Plan, attend and participate in regional and national expos and events, including trade show and swim competitions that present brand visibility and sales opportunities.

Sports Promotions Coordinator

Responsible for interviewing prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, physical condition and person and property that is to be insured. Explain various features and benefits of various policies to promote sale of insurance plan.

• Calling warm and cold leads. Goal of 600 calls per day.

•  Partnered with the sports promotion staff with a variety of marketing, sales and public relations efforts for SPEEDO sponsored teams.
•  Communicated with SPEEDO sponsored coaches regarding all aspects of sponsorships and agreements. Analyzed needs of teams based on previous sales numbers, current trends and prices.
•  Helped to create a nearly 80% market share of SPEEDO brand suits at the 2004 Olympic Trials in Long Beach, CA.  SPEEDO was worn by nearly 90% of all Aquatic Sports athletes at the 2004 Olympics in Greece.
•  Maintained team sponsorship database and coach/team communication network through constant and efficient communication with teams and coaches.
•  Worked closely with SPEEDO sponsored Olympic athletes at major national and international competitions to ensure optimal performance at these meets.
