Located along the Pacific Ocean, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Santa Barbara is a premiere destination in the Central Coast of California and plans to become the premiere Lacrosse destination in the West Coast, playing host to tournaments for teams throughout California and the rest of the country, with the creation of Cal Coast Lacrosse and the Santa Barbara Showdown.
Cal Coast Sports Ventures, LLC held the 1st Santa Barbara Showdown, a premiere 90 Team Lacrosse Tournament at the Santa Barbara Polo Club, for U-9 through U-18 teams on October 18 - 19, 2014.

The Santa Barbara Showdown is a premiere Lacrosse Tournament at the Santa Barbara Polo Club for U-9 through U-18 boys and girls lacrosse teams.
The Santa Barbara Showdown hosts Boys and Girls lacrosse teams from U-9 to U-18 on the beautiful Santa Barbara Polo Club, nestled between the Santa Ynez Mountain foothills and the Pacific Ocean. Established in 1911, the Santa Barbara Polo Club is the third oldest polo facility in the United States and is known worldwide for its lush fields and international polo competition.
With over 7,000 visitors over our 2-day event, our 1st event had an economic impact of over $715,000 to the local Santa Barbara community (the 2nd annual event with over $1million, the 3rd annual event with over $1.5million). Sponsors included Pepsi, Gatorade, STX, Harrow Lacrosse, Lacrosse Fanatic, String King, Hilton, Marriot, Montecito Bank & Trust, the Hangar SB, the Silver Palate, the Santa Barbara Lacrosse Association and the Clean Water Tour.

SVSEF, provides year-round ski and snowboard training, mountain awareness, and competitive opportunities for Wood River Valley youth. Alpine Collective is proud to support the SVSEF Alpine Development Fund.
SUN VALLEY SKI PATROL, one of America's first and longest-tenured ski patrol that began skiing the slopes of central Idaho's Pioneer and Smoky mountain ranges. The SVSP was originally led by members of the U.S. Army’s famed 10th Mountain Division. Haulin' the Fallin' since 1936. Alpine Collective is proud to support the Sun Valley Ski Patrol throughout the winter, on Friday afternoons, at Grumpy's.
SUN VALLEY SUNS, founded in 1975, compete in the Black Diamond Hockey League (BDHL). Alpine Collective is proud to support the Sun Valley Suns Alumni Association (SVSAA).
SHE JUMPS, increases the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities. Partnering with nature, SheJumps creates educational outdoor experiences for girls and women that nurture growth and transformation. Alpine Collective is proud to support SheJumps and provides swag to their local events.
SUN VALLEY BREWFEST, has raised over $1 million for international and local charities/programs, such as Blaine County Search and Rescue, the Community Holiday Baskets Project, the Wood River Rotary Scholarship Fund, and The Hunger Coalition, to name just a few. Brewfest brings 1,500+ beer lovers from all over the Intermountain West, to Ketchum. Alpine Collective was a proud sponsor of Brewfest.
CHAPTER ONE BOOKSTORE, has been selling books in the wood river valley since 1970 and continues to partner with organizations like the Community Library, Sun Valley Museum of Art, Hemingway Festival, Writers Conference, and The Women's Conference & Wellness Festival for author events. Alpine Collective was proud to support the 2023 Holiday Open House by bringing live Reindeer to Chapter One Bookstore!
