A leader in retail brand and youth lifestyle marketing, with an acute sense of what drives an overall business plan and the tireless energy it takes to get a community to believe in that plan. With successes under my belt and a passion for research in an ever evolving marketplace, I'm always looking to challenge "Industry Best Practices" by centering the focus on the customer and driving goals with a long term narrative in mind, while balancing brand goals and sales targets towards a harmonious end.

-Given a blank canvas by Nike, I was contracted to develop a plan of action with Sales team during a re-branding process to effectively communicate a new narrative while bringing seasonal initiatives to market through footwear, apparel, and accessory product with an increase of $10 million year to date. 
-Initiated communications with Merchandising team to execute in store and show room presentations to aid the sell in process for Sales team and achieving overall brand presentation goals at retail locations. 
-Partnered with Nike west Brand and Sales teams in event execution and planning, often utilizing hosting skills to effectively raise participation and gather important consumer insight data.
-Compiled reports and developed presentations for Brand and Sales team, offering deep customer and core community insights and behaviors based on Qualitative Ethnographic Research conducted during my tenure.

Southern California Market Place Rep

-Created a world that included multiple departments to build internal and external marketing strategies to build faith in overall business plan objectives while delivering results that challenged industry, drove long term growth, and built archetypes for future investors of the brand. 

+ Creation and Management of ambassador program which fueled community support, supplied industry with a farming system for future talent, and provided models/athletes for advertising campaigns (e.g. event marketing, catalogs, etc)
+Social Media Manager/Content Creator, including filming, editing, photography, and multiple platform  competency.
+Company culture building through sales philosophy training, employee rewards events, and events bringing industry and staff together to foster growth of future leaders. 
+Advertising management working with media partners through print, online, television, and radio to successfully communicate overall brand ideals utilizing copy writing skills and vocal talents, including; content creation, deals and offers to further sale objectives, Authorizing and managing apparel appearances for film/TV contracts.  
+Team Management for Pros/Amateurs, maintaining and managing seasonal budgets/salaries,  scripting seasonal apparel for on athlete exposure, coordinating photo shoot and appearances, planning/executing domestic and international travel while creating content for catalogs and media. 
+Event Manager including events such as skateboard demos, bar/music venues, art shows, fashion shows, skate/snow contests, in store events, community, utilizing partnership dollars/contributions, city permits, and insurance requirements
+Budget creation based on projected sales/ current market trend analysis, evaluating return on investment, providing calendar and strategic plans for all dept heads. In addition company newsletter for entire organization and presentations for key meetings to communicate short and long term goals.

Marketing Manager

+Working with producers, script writers, and production to achieve appropriate on-location communication to a wide audience. 
+Providing history, heritage, and talking points about skateboarders to create stories and memorable moments for the crowd and live web cast.

Insight Garage Artist

Skateboarding hard goods including decks, wheels, hardware, bearings, helmets and pads. 
+More than quadrupled sales of decks after applying the appropriate research and development to obtain on trend shapes and sizes, including sourcing competitive high-end wood from multiple manufacturers both foreign and domestic. 
+Created packaging, branding, and copy-written material for wheels, hardware, bearings, helmets and pads helping to eliminate inventory issues for otherwise loose items and help create new areas of profit and increase in overall sales.

Private Label Manager

+Created a singular consumables buyer position to support a retail growth plan, successfully aiding the opening of 13 Active retail locations while developing policy and procedures.      
+Sourced, purchased and delivered packaging and production consumables to meet budget goal at or below standard costs, in time and to buying specifications.
+Leading Sales, Merchandising, Creative and Distribution teams to develop and deliver fixtures/consumables to support brick and mortar business plan.

Consumables Buyer

-Managed an ever growing list of brick and motor locations merchandise, consumables (including lost prevention items), fixtures, return to vendor items, and seasonal sale merchandise. 
-Duties included the planning and purchasing infrastructure, equipment/vehicle fleet management along with drivers, in addition to maintenance, upholding safety requirements for insurance purposes. 
-Management of staff required working with Human Resources to employee part time and seasonal employees maintaining and enforcing policies and procedures limiting overall liability. 
-Directing purchasing to oversee appropriate domestic and foreign shipments to fulfill planning and allocation goals in addition to security/inventory control measures. 
-Partnering with Operations/Facilities manager in budget creation and planning base on sales/ expansion goals.

Distribution Manager

Responsibilities including customer service, merchandising, key holder, scheduling, management of shipments and return to vendor requests, markdowns, managing local ambassador program, and local donations for community events. Overall performance resulting in increase sales as a result of a loyal repeat customer base.
