I'm a copywriter for an advertising agency, but I have a lot more to offer than my writing abilities. I'm smart, quick to learn, hardworking (but who on here says they aren't) and I can take on, and conquer, any challenge thrown my way. 

Currently, I write copy to fit all different types of formats, including digital and traditional, and for all different types of clients. While writing is my strength, I’ve found that I have unique ability to connect and empathize with others, enabling me to easily step into the minds of different target audiences and uncover the angle that resonates with them the most. People fascinate me—from how they think to how they act to what motivates them. I thrive on deciphering what makes people tick and what will resonate with them.

I have always believed that it is not the message that’s delivered, but the way in which that message is conveyed that matters the most. You may be communicating the same idea to two different audiences, but you need to understand the intricacies of both and recognize that they have distinct wants and needs. People are puzzles, and I find putting the puzzle together thrilling.


•	Created message map to ensure consistency in marketing for an international security company.  
•	Generate topic ideas and write blogs for the company’s two websites.
•	Proofread and edit presentations, RFPs, internal documents and copy for client.
•	Write copy for blogs, advertisements, email and social media for a major CA University.
•	Generate copy for social media outlets both for TRAFFIK and its clients.


•	Brainstormed topics and write blogs on a weekly basis for clients, which are then posted on their websites. 
•	Managed HR paperwork, including drafting the employee handbook, offer letters and notices of termination. 
•	Proofread and edit both client websites and documents.  


Administrative Assitant

•	Managed all social media, including the company blog, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn as well as analyzed data from the websites to understand the best way to market to old customers and acquire new customers and increase SEO.
•	Managed all marketing efforts of SFEG, coordinating with the different departments, most notably engineering, to maintain consistency in our marketing message.
•	Developed personas for company website to learn more about their work environments, lifestyle, industry related reading habits, purchasing preferences/decision making process for purchasing products.


Marketing Manager

•	Developed a Zagat style directory highlighting Interstate’s nearly 400-property global portfolio. 
•	Performed competitive analysis on market trends and made recommendations on the brand of hotel that would be suitable for particular markets.
•	Constructed presentations and proposals to secure new contracts, including a business proposal that secured a management contract in Europe.


Analyst, Development & Acquisitions

•	Trained in operations of hotels.
•	Generated and led an in-depth market analysis at the Westin Atlanta Airport on the property’s competitive set.  Presented report to the General Manager, the Revenue Manager and the Sales & Marketing team. This resulted in changes in sales practices as well as in the revenue management strategy at the property. 
•	Piloted an analysis on the spending practices of different types of hotel guests at the Westin Atlanta Airport. The analysis resulted in changes to the hotel’s room rates as well as in the marketing of amenities such as food and beverage products.
•	Analysis on the total poundage of linen used monthly at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach.  The analysis demonstrated that the hotel had been overcharged by its laundry service, resulting in the hotel receiving $20,000 in compensation.
