Craig Hossfeld: Drilling Engineer in Bakersfield, CA

*Develop well designs and confirm pore pressure/fracture gradient predictions. *Identify and evaluate appropriate offset wells. *Lead internal well design reviews and risk assessments for assigned wells. *Write drilling procedures for assigned wells, and document all well design changes using MOC process. *Coordinate and communicate end of well reviews, and lead the joint review with the reservoir management team (RMT). *Actively participate in RMT meetings. *Provide technical support on daily drilling operations and serve as the primary contact for field engineering issues. *Provide full time engineering support to assigned drilling rig(s). *Monitor daily morning report, and data error corrections and coding. *Assure assigned wells are properly permitted, and serve as a primary liaison with Governmental Regulatory Offices for assigned wells. *Assist with timely procurement of material, equipment and personnel, and review and approve invoices for accuracy. *Perform rig site supervision as required.
