Under the direction of the Firm Administrator and Library Partner managed administrative tasks related to the firm’s day-to-day library and information resources. Department lead for internal and external department services. Assisted and tracked patron requests for status updates on project and research status. Directly influenced and assisted with the negotiation of complex firm wide subscriptions, licenses and contracts. Monitored and approved all library expenses and collection management. Budget drafting with final approval from Library Partner. Overall net reduction in expenditures during my tenure, with the solicitation of vendor proposals. Established and maintained vendor relationships, with vendors such as Westlaw, Lexis, Thomson Reuters, Science Direct and Springer. Created and launched the firm’s first intranet page for intellectual property resources, a catalog and department Wikipedia. Directed department assistants with special projects from beginning to end. Oriented and trained all incoming support staff on the firm’s library and information services.

Under direction of the Library Dean this position provided guidance to library users on library policies and procedures.
