Provided creative consumer product support for domestic and global style guides, cartoonnetworkshop.com, trade shows, retail meetings and licensed partners. This included patterns, graphics, packaging, brand management, and product development from concept to final production. Managed and directed the associate designer and freelance resources. Seasonal trend trips and research for mood boards, style guides, and product development. Met with our partners to discuss current and future business.

Senior Designer - Consumer Products Soft Line Categories

Provided creative support for direct to retail (Kohls) youth and young mens action sport apparel line (graphics, cut and sew, accessories, packaging). Developed t-shirt line from concept to final production. Managed and directed freelance artists. Built seasonal trend boards. Introduced style guides in our dept for internal and external vendors. Presented quarterly line reviews with Kohls buyers and upper management. Worked on 20+ seasons for Hawk, Hang Ten and Pirate Surf. Totaling about 175 skus each season. $150mil annual retail business at Kohls.

Designed graphics, patterns, color catalogs, line sheets, flat sketches, packaging, product mock ups and presentations for sleep wear and hosiery apparel.

CNC and traditional machining. Surface grinding. Polishing. Holding tight tolerances. Blue print reading.  Built plastic injection and die cast molds. Basically made manly stuff out of metal.
