Associate Director, Marketing

Led organizational marketing activities for a bilingual national charity within a multidisciplinary marketing, communications, revenue development and youth engagement team. Mandate included planning, execution, and measurement of annual integrated multichannel marketing efforts, achieving brand awareness and revenue development goals.
• Directed all brand governance, strategic marketing, and creative oversight for national brand properties including Walk so Kids Can Talk, Good2Talk, and Crisis Text Line powered by Kids Help Phone.
• Navigated partnership agreements and led strategic media planning to maximize brand amplification with partners such as Bell Media, BMO, NBA Canada, NHLPA, and Landmark Cinemas.
• Spearheaded brand development, integrated planning, and paid media strategy (PESO) for successful pilot launch and national rollout of Canada’s first free nationwide texting service; meeting all service targets by driving 140,000 texting conversations in year one.
• Oversaw all creative development, including 30th Anniversary marketing campaign and supporting national media buy (>$300k).

Senior Marketing Manager

Planning, development and deployment of strategic integrated youth marketing efforts for all Kids Help Phone & Good2Talk brand activities.
• Led successful brand renewal and internal/external communication strategy for Kids Help Phone’s 2016 re-brand and website redesign. • Developed and executed Kids Help Phone’s award winning 2017 “Illusion of Perfection” disruptive social media campaign, delivering
12.5 million total impressions – 2.3 times the impressions target.
• Good2Talk post-secondary student helpline brand strategy and 2016-2017 marketing campaign, earning over 8 million media
impressions and an 18% average increase in YOY service demand. • Developed and established reporting best practices within a matrix organization, partnering with internal service, revenue teams and external agencies to effectively evaluate the impact of marketing
efforts and forecast for future campaigns.
• Leveraged media partner relations to secure pro-bono airtime for
Kids Help Phone and Walk so Kids Can Talk presented by BMO
PSA’s on major networks.

Marketing Manager

• Oversaw budget creation, management, and reconciliation for program pitching and execution up to $500k.
• Led all supplier briefing and management (spend >$100k) to ensure timely development, production, and distribution of program assets. • Coached teams of part-time & full-time coordinators, as well as in-
field staff with a focus on skill development for future success.
• Sole Field Manager responsible for all 2015 RBC programming and client needs, growing experiential business from $500k to over $2
million in 2016.
• Program highlights include:
o RBC Training Ground: National partnership with CBC and the Canadian Olympic Committee to launch and promote RBC Olympic Partnership and find next generation athletes.
o 2015 Diet Coke ‘Get A Taste Style Bar’: Award winning 5- week pop-up store downtown Toronto in collaboration with online retailer GILT.
