Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Newell Brands, QEP, TTI, and Menards. Responsible for integrating design needs of the end user
with the manufacturing capabilities of our partners - while still making a profit for the company and the retailer. The role
requires both significant design and product development experience.
· Directly involved with retailer and sales team for new product features, SKU line up, and material selection.
· Design diagram document creation reviewing documents with retailer and sales team
· Factory selection and material specification
· Led weeklong product development meetings with retail customers at overseas factories
· Key role in product line review resulting in approx 1.9 million dollars in savings
The position required significant foreign travel to Mexico and China - totaling over 120 days abroad during the last year.
Additionally, responsible for participation and design summary of primary market research including focus groups, job site
visits, and conducting end-user interviews.
