Key responsibilities:
-Lead the development and execution of paid media strategy, including preparation of media budgets, strategy, executions and schedules of insertions and custom creative executions for all media categories including print, outdoor, mobile, digital display, video and paid social. 
-Provide guidance and leadership to Oakley’s internal PR team as it relates to managing budgets, conflicts, clarifying roles, responsibilities and overall career development as well as developing short and long term plans and budgets for their respective areas and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
-Develop, implement and monitor systems for procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the advertising/communications and public relations functions
-Ensure Oakley’s philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the communication teams efforts.
-Develop and implement means to seek regular input from Oakley’s key stakeholders regarding the needs of each channel and that Go-to-Market strategies are timed across functional groups for maximum impact.
-Lead agency to develop breakthrough, integrated advertising media campaigns and custom executions for print, outdoor and digital
-Create media and PR briefs based on strategic marketing insights and direction. Work with agency to ensure understanding and alignment with overall direction. Ensure media/PR plans reflect and communicate this direction
- Budget planning and management
- Cultivate and manage external media partner relationships
