I have several years of work experience in the design industry. Aside from the work that I have done at Scentsy and Cabela's, I also do freelance for various other needs on occasion - logo/brand identity, business collateral, advertising and also specialize in stationery and event design. I have experience working within various cms platforms such as Wordpress & Squarespace. While design is my stronger suit, I have almost as much experience in my career editing code as I do design. I love bringing joy to others through customized design for important life events. There is something so beautiful, wonderful and rewarding to create work that you know will bring a smile, touch someone’s heart, be thoughtful, memorable…I can go on and on. It’s such an honor for me to be able to provide my talent to such a wonderful field.

• Led the UI layer of a company-wide digital rebrand, building color tokens, typography standards, and a component library in Figma including buttons, inputs, modals, and core UI components, built to WCAG accessibility standards. • Migrated the icon system to a scalable Figma component built on Font Awesome libraries, eliminating designer dependency, reducing design debt, and building in flexibility for future brand evolution. • Built a modular email component system in Figma and piloted the Knack plugin to publish it directly to the marketing team, enabling them to build and deploy templated emails independently. • Restructured web and email layouts to leverage existing cross-platform marketing assets, cutting redundant production work and increasing team output capacity.

I have had the great opportunity and privilege to be involved with HOW Design LIVE conferences as an Ambassador (formerly known as "Champions") for the last 5 years. This year, 2020, will be my 6th. I have been a huge advocate and participant as an attendee for quite a few years before then. As an Ambassador, part of my responsibilities have included social media marketing efforts to support promotions and early engagement, speaker introductions, assisting networking events and providing customer service during and after the conference. I provided some illustration work in 2016 that was featured in the conference directory and a swag coloring book that was facilitated by Karen Larson. The coloring book featured illustrations from various speakers and fellow ambassadors. I have also helped to plan additional networking events around the conference such as 'Dinner & Design'. I love attending the conference as it's an opportunity to meet with like-minded people from the design industry, learn and grow both personally and professionally.

• Designed primarily for web, with campaign lead responsibilities that extended asset creation across email and social as well. • Created original illustrations and packaging patterns used across product lines, web, and marketing. • Art directed and designed campaigns for major licensing collaborations with brands including Disney and Warner Bros., navigating individual licensor brand requirements and approval processes throughout. • Collaborated closely with marketing and product teams to keep visual output consistent as the brand scaled.
