I have extensive knowledge and experience  in the transportation & skateboard industries.

In charge of all of the judging staff for amateur skateboard contests held at least twice a month at various locations throughout California. Duties also include bannering at each event, serving as the event emcee, as well as promotion between events.

Duties included but not limited to talking to factories overseas, Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers to coordinate movement of international freight. Also arranged pick ups and deliveries of domestic freight with truckers and courier services. Classified goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule for both import and export. Extensive use of MS Excel and Full Circle.

Logistics Manager (Temporary)

Customs Broker, extensive data entry and documentation of all details pertaining to cargo being moved for approval of entry into the country by US Customs. Classification of goods according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule. Coordinating movement of freight from airport or harbor to locations specified by customer/importer. Most of my customers were garment or fabric manufacturers and/or distributors. I dealt directly with the customers, trucking companies, as well as the Customs and Border Protection branch of the US Government.

In charge of recruiting for and maintenance of the skate team. I made sure they had product as well as kept up with contest results for web posting, I was also heavily involved with promotions and marketing.

Skate Team Manager

Sole owner and operator of my own skateboard shop. I managed and skated on my own shop team. We won 1st place Shop Team Overall 2001 in the CASL contest series. I placed 2nd overall in the Shop Sponsored 16+ Div that year. In 2010 I started making and selling boards using the Barely Legal name. (www.BLSkates.com) In 2012 we produced and distributed a team video called "Over Due" that is available for viewing on Vimeo.com.

Sole Proprietor

Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, Customer Service. Drove forklift. Noted, packed, and shipped parts orders for industrial refrigeration units. Also maintained inventory.

Shipping Receiving Clerk

Warehouse, Delivery, Customer Service. Drove forklift. Delivered furniture. Maintained inventory. Handled all customer complaints and merchandise inquiries. Assisted in designing showroom displays.

Warehouse Worker

Freight Forwarder. Coordinated movement of freight, import and export, data entry, and filing. Dealt directly with customers, airlines, steamship lines, trucking companies, and Customs Brokers.
