Passionate designer with 10+ years of experience in marketing, UI/UX, motion, and print design. Executed projects from broad concepts to delivery of high-quality work while meeting deadlines and working cross-functionally. Developed assets for national campaigns that lead the marketing department to be recognized with various awards. Photographer skilled in taking photographs to be used in marketing materials and portraits, landscapes, lifestyle, and action sports photography in both digital and film formats. Always creating and incorporating various mediums from animation, illustration, photography, motion graphics, and videography.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication from the Herron School of Art and Design at Indiana University—Purdue University Indianapolis. After graduating, I moved to the Bay Area to pursue my passion in design. I am very motivated and love finding new solutions to projects.

• Develop co-branding for cross-sell emails and various touchpoints.
• Design marketing material that support the needs of our stakeholders.
• Build and maintain a high velocity and variety of creative advertising output each week for social media, email, web, and more.
• Execute in all visual design stages from concept to final integration.

• Photographed all camp activities for 4 camp sessions to capture memories for campers and to be used for marketing materials.
• Ran the zine program for 4 sessions of 9-17 year old campers and lead the content creation of the zines with them.
• Produced a finished zine that was given out to each camper and staff at the end of each week.

• Animated an into title and separate animations for the 11 trick titles to be posted individually on social media and their website.
• Created various formats to be used across social and web.
• Set the style for the trick animations that got produced by another animator.

• Translate new visual identity updates to work throughout multiple touchpoints to improve user experience and usability.
• Developed assets for a nationwide campaign for a new company direction, involving billboards all around the country, digital ads, landing pages, and emails. 
• Operate within tight timelines to deliver finished, high-quality designs on time.

UX Visual Designer

Successfully complete design projects from conception to completion by providing creative solutions to marketing and UI needs, while collaborating with teams across Esurance. These projects include optimizing and creating new content for the Esurance.com website, social media posts, campaigns including landing pages, online display banners, direct mail, and emails. Conducted usability testing on the Esurance website to improve user experience and conversion rate. 

Key Achievements
• Developed UI brand standards while updating the Esurance.com site pages during a brand refresh that won the marketing team the top award at the Marketers That Matter Annual Awards Gala.
• Designed social media posts in support of the Esurance 2015 Super Bowl sweepstakes, which got about 2.5 million hashtag mentions and 1.5 billion impressions, the second most used hashtag during the Super Bowl. 
• Completed more than 600 design projects that helped lead Esurance to accomplish profitability, growth, and marketing KPIs.

Visual Designer

Conceptualized and developed designs for marketing used in magazine ads, online display banners, landing pages, and direct mail. Designed web pages for the main website and provided updated graphics. Developed brochures and course catalogs while working with printers to ensure it was produced correctly. Created signage used for events held at the college for incoming and prospective students.
