Administartive Assistant 

Administration & Clerical

Currently serves as a Administrative Assistant for Children and Family Futures (CFF) and supports to the National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare. In this role, supports both administrative and programmatic functions.  Assists with meetings, maintaining project files, handling communications, as well as formatting and editing materials for dissemination to our clients. Supports the Office Manager and Program Staff with travel, managing calendars, conferences, seminars, and minutes for meetings. 
Prior to joining CFF  worked as a Peer and Family advocate for STRIVE Holistic Campus, specialized with parolees to develop and implement treatment plans, provided crisis response to consumers, conducted assessments and initial clinical evaluations, performed accurate peer counselling and case management, and assisted consumers with eligibility for government based assistance programs. Over six years of collaborative case management experience for the Department of Behavioral Health’s (DBH) in numerous services.


Provide support to the Program Staff by answering and screening incoming telephone calls 
Manage calendars for major events, site visits, and other technical assistances; 
Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for all staff and other affiliates;
Compose and edit documents and products on behalf of the program; coordinate material logistics for meeting folders, shipment, and deadline cutoffs; record and disseminate comprehensive minutes for meetings. 
upports the Research and Evaluation Team with the full range of program evaluation activities and provides evaluation related technical assistance to community organizations, government agencies, decision-makers, and CFF staff.
Enter and maintain primary and secondary data for Riverside FPC, PFR, and Prototypes PPW/AIA, travel to sites to conduct evaluations/GPRA surveys, conduct exit interviews for Prototypes PPW; and conduct descriptive and inferential analyses of program performance and evaluation data.


Provide Crisis responses services to consumers, performed accurate peer counseling and case management, 
Collaborated case management for the Department of Behavioral Health’s (DBH) in numerous services, 
Conduct assessments and initial clinical evaluations, community outreach and resource facilitation,
Develop and implement treatment plans for California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation adult parole division, 
Efficiently facilitated Anger Management and Parenting classes, and assist consumers with eligibility for government based assistance programs.  


Peer Family Advocate 

Support for two Program Managers; Central Valley Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program and Fontana intensive Drug Court, 
Responsible included maintaining current inventories, answering phone calls (seven line switch board), setting up intake appointments and confirming monthly Medi-Cal eligibility, 
Entering of all billing into the San Bernardino County Billing data base (SIMON), 
Performed monthly Quality Assurance in-house audits, 
Opened new client episodes, Discharge clients, closed and archived charts, submit monthly reports, 
Assist with corporate Human Resource department on local level to hire employees and interns, 
Utilize skillful communication and negotiation skills while providing a personalized service to clientele, and facilitated anger management classes.   


Organize and manage the front reception area of an intense drug and alcohol outpatient program, 
Collecting and entering data into SIMON data base, 
Completion of monthly reports and attending quality assurance reviews, 
Collecting program fees, managing and scheduling meetings, 
Confirm Medi-Cal eligibility, 
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and encourage team concepts 
Facilitated anger management classes.

Provide customer service, manage front desk of an eyeglasses manufacturing firm, and accurately completed month end invoices. 

Mange front desk of a physical fitness establishment, provide customer service, and responsible for answering phones and scheduling private appointments.
