Provided strong leadership by coordinating the pre production team (including outside vendors) to achieve expected goals and meet delivery deadlines.
Developed & monitored pre-production sample work such as: proto samples, salesman samples, pre production samples, size run samples etc.
As part of the pre-production team, managed and input the entire company’s data by using the WebPDM system, and reduced the production lead-time by 60%.
Developed and implemented strategy to reduce the controlling process by getting rid of extra cutting tickets for in-house production. New plan resulted in approximately 20% reduction in paperwork and a more streamlined pre-production process. Worked closely with the Director of Design and Director of Production to ensure the production process and strategy is in line with the company’s manufacturing needs.

PRE-PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

• Technical design of kids clothing line. Developed two new lines of design to differentiate company’s segments.
• Worked closely with merchandisers and VP of marketing to execute strategies to market and sell products.
• Developed a sustainable and more efficient design/development program by analyzing the pattern of buyers’ demands and trends of previous selling history, resulting in a 60% decrease in development lead-time.
• Facilitated and built strong and trustworthy vendor relationships with downtown Los Angeles based vendors, such as Neman Brothers, and Elegant Textile, etc.
