Group Retail Manager

Top Management

An experienced manager with 14 plus years of strategic Sales, Marketing and Business Development initiatives including core competencies in Brand Management, Marketing Management, Retail Management at Exec Level and directing product launches for the Fashion/Wholesale/Retail sectors..

- Part of the Executive Team reporting to the GM, and responsible for the Retail Division within the Group.
- Manage a Team of 6 direct reports to drive the business across Retail Operations, Merchandising, E-commerce, Sales, Marketing, and Staff development to reach Budgets across all Financial & Strategic metrics.
- Report into the Asia-Pacific Region as part of the GSM Global business

- Responsible for the Formulation, Development, and Deployment of a fully functional E-Commerce solution for the Company owned Brands.
- Determine the direction and strategy for all external e-commerce platforms for our Group.
- Founder of the Swindle.co.za online store servicing the SA Market.
- This position now reports into the Group Retail Manager as part of the Retail Division.

E-commerce Business Development Manager

- Oversee the Marketing, Sales and Product strategies for the fastest growing brand within the current stable of brands that form the GSM Group.
- Manage results based FY budgets in-line with key Sales/CAPEX/Overhead and Marketing objectives with view to enhance profitability while maintaining maximum ROI.
- Responsible for communicating the key Marketing objectives across the target market segments in-line with the Global Brand ethos.
- Manage all Media & PR opportunities, draft and implement the media plan to maximize the Brand image and enhance Media relationships that deliver on the short, medium and long term marketing strategies.
- Manage both Internal & External sales objectives across all market segments, with the view to exceed or meet the agreed Sales initiatives.
- Increase the controllable floor space and category penetration across all facets of the product offering & customer base.
- Liaise with the Product team and provide direction & feedback on the product matrix with 

Brand Manager

- Managing & implementing all Marketing strategies across all segments, product categories to attract and retain revenue gains.
- Implementing the various Brand Marketing strategies through successful campaign development & implementation.
- Presenting the key seasonal campaigns and targeted strategies to all Sales representatives and key accounts.
- Conceiving & managing turnkey POS and related solutions to further enhance brand perception & drive the needs of the end consumer.
- Liaising with the various media partners, negotiating preferential rates & exposure across the selected platforms.
- Managing the key Personalities, Brand Ambassadors & Athletes to forge a strong bond and ensuring maximum ROI.
- Managing key staff and fostering a goal orientated, team atmosphere to ensure all parties have direction and feel part of the family.
- Ensuring relevant Social Media campaigns & fostering creative dialogue around the various online posts.

Marketing Manager

- Oversee company Retail locations and implement best practices across customer services, sales initiatives and staff training.
- Roll out of new POS system and training across all locations countrywide.
- Maintain system integrity & "up time" ensuring all information and transactions are 100% system wide.
- Plan, implement and manage all upgrades and staff training across the entire system according to key performance indicators and within budget constraints.
- Assist with category planning and buying for all product lines with a view to maximize ROI and potential across all retail locations.
- Stay on top of all related information and Brand activity to ensure the entire retail chain is populated with the latest product that is on trend & on top of the sales curve.
- Keep abreast of all competitor activity to ensure the group is not unduly exposed to market forces, & is ahead of the competition
