David Dea brings 19+ years of fashion experience. He has expert knowledge in processes and operations of factory sourcing for apparel, accessories and footwear, specifically in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, San Salvador, and the USA. He cofounded and operated Direct Ind. Inc De Honduras, an apparel manufacturing facility working with leading companies, such as, Target, Sears, AMC, The Swire Group, and Li & Fung. He has significant experience in lean manufacturing processes and working directly with the production flow managing the SAM process ensuring maximum profitability. David has also worked within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), B2B (Business to Business), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software segment where he has worked with over 200 companies in sales, training, implementation and consulting businesses from start up to 1 billion+ in revenues. David has also worked for the largest trade shows in the world within the fashion marketplace; some of these include MAGIC International, World Shoe Association (WSA) and ENK International where he was in executive roles with a focus on building the international divisions. David Co-Founded PURcraft, A Creative Agency, that caters to all things web, graphic design, software integrations and more. David earned a degree in Merchandise Marketing with an emphasis on Product Development from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), where he currently resides as an instructor.

WSA located in Las Vegas twice a year was 2.1 million square feet of exhibit space and was the largest stage for footwear companies in the USA. 

My role was to develop Sourcing, Increase Exhibitors, Develop International Sales team, Manage P&L and Client facing to all global government entities. Started at 283 booths and increased it to 400+ exhibitors. Worked with China, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Taiwan, Egypt, Indonesia, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Bangladesh and more. 

Director of Global Footwear Sourcing

MAGIC International is the world's largest and most widely recognized producer of trade shows for the apparel industry. The MAGIC Marketplace consists of four concurrent running events, providing the most comprehensive apparel and accessory offerings found anywhere in the world.

Developed Technology area within Sourcing at MAGIC and built & directed International Sales in Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Turkey, Egypt and more.

Microsoft Access with SQL. Key person in assisting with white boarding and working with developers. Sales, Software Update Ideas, Implementation and Customer Satisfaction were my key focus.

It Currently has office in USA, China and India. Currently has over 250+ fashion companies using WinFashion to manage their daily businesses including order processing, manufacturing, sourcing and accounting.

My role included ERP Sales, Implementation, EDI, Managing Project Management Team.
