Store Manager

Top Management

I have spent 8 years as a store manager in the surf and skate industry and in purchasing for 3+ years. I worked as a shoe buyer and had direct contact with sales reps from many companies.  I have attended many Surf Expo's and reviewed new product, made product selections, and written purchase orders. I also worked with reps from many watch and sunglass companies to make sure the product selection was right for my location. I have mostly been on the retail side and have proven that I can come in and turn a store or company around. I have a history of being the go to guy to make things happen whether it was helping to set up an event, creating a new signage program, or achieving sales goals. I have been able exceed expectations throughout my career. Recently, I have wanted to change from the retail side to representing a brand and pushing their products sales. I have worked side by side though the purchasing process and have a great understanding both sides of the retail business. I look forward to the challenge of supporting a new company and pushing it towards future goals.

-Lead the store to being the #1 in total sales for my region for the year.
-Increased every KPI such as UPT, ADS, SPH, and conversion in my first year.
-In charge of hiring, training and development of a staff of 40 or more employees.
-Won numerous company awards including; Store of the Month Award for my Region,  2 Hook-Ups (E-mail) contest, Top Converion Awards, Top 10 Customer Service score, and an Increase to LY award.

-Won 2 Top Ten Salesperson awards in my first year along with a Loss Prevention Award for catching internal theft.
-Was selected to travel and help with the hiring, training, and grand opening of a new locations.
-Successfully complete my manager training calls and moved on to the advanced manager training.
-Consistently been the top performer on our weekly productivity reports.
-Responsible for leading store manager meetings and completing the schedules each week.

Advanced Manager in Training

-Responsible for overseeing all store issues such as; hiring, firing, training, scheduling, paper work, reporting sales figures, and customer service.
-Purchased over $100,000 in annual shoe inventory from 15 vendors for seven locations.-
-Negotiated favorable purchase contracts and increased profit margins by 5% in first year as buyer.
Launched new sale and signage programs, successfully executed promotions and events, set up and ran social media sites.
-Achieved a Top Ten Salesman Award and maintained a top sales position through the course of employment.	
-In charge of all visual merchandising of including window mannequins and mall display cases.
